      Thats something common on all gixxers and is never pre-adjusted at the factory or showroom, ever since the bike came out. Its easy to adjust if u find the screw though.
      PS: my 2004 activa has a better stock headlight than my gixxer. XD

        I found a solution to the hard gearshifts problem. I noticed that the clutch release/engage point set by the factory is wrong. I put the bike on main stand, shifted to 1st and engaged the clutch. The wheel kept rotating on 1st gear even when the clutch was engaged. This is bad for the gearbox. I reset the release point now and the wheel rotates only when I release the clutch. Just out of curiosity I went and checked a few other gixxers in the Showroom and they all had the same issue. Factory clutch setting is messed up. Now after the proper setting of clutch release point, I can barely feel the shifts. It's butter smooth.
        All the bikes which came from the factory had no free play in the clutch lever at all. They do the same thing in the services as well. No wonder people complain about the hard gearshifts.

              Can anyone verify the AFR Screw position on their Gixxer/SF bikes. The default one which is set from the factory before 1st service. Mine is set at 1 and a half turn anticlockwise from full tight by the service center with a gas analyser. The video I posted shows 2 and a half which is too rich.

                I think 2.5 full turn is optimum

                  Can you verify that with your bike and reply back. Would be very helpful.

                    I guess the Bs4 bikes battery gonna die sooner. The Headlight comes on by just turning the ignition on. To make matters worse, gixxer has a tiny 3ah battery.

                            Gixxer = workhorse
                            Daytona = racehorse

                                Very true. Double discs on Daytona looks sexy.

                                Congrats.

                                Hope your city riding is easy with gixxer. I'd say scooters are actual work horses lol

                                Update: at 13 000 + KM odo

                                Finished recent trip to Horsely Hills to beat the heat. Missed some grunt that I used to get from my RTR 180 on long rides. Any recommendation on a tall wind screen? The bike's smooth but wind blast makes it fit only for city rides. Will be upgrading to a bigger bike with wind protection and get a scooter for city usage so until then I need wind protection if I may want to go on highways before upgrading.

                                Bike does well in rain but no feedback from front brake in rain/ wet. It locks up abruptly and there's a lot of front fork dive. No engine related problems and also ran an extra 860 km from a service interval, which didn't make any difference to the ride at all. Nice engine quality.

                                The fibre panels on the tail section are losing paint, prolly weather? I expect the same on handlebar and tank in a few months. Thank goodness I do not have stickering that may peal.

                                Thanks.

                                I have a Triumph Daytona for my weekend rides. Gixxer is strictly for office commute and city roundabouts. I'm taking the delivery of my red gixxer today.

                                I chose gixxer primarily because of the trust I have in Suzuki. I was deciding between gixxer and unicorn, but I found gixxer to be extreme fun to ride in the city. My riding style is inclined towards the sporty side and I like to keep the revs up. Also I found the gixxer gearbox to be best suited for cluthless upshifts and downshifts.

                                Please tell me about the things to keep an eye on. Are there any niggles in the gixxer that I have to be aware of?
                                How are cluthcless downshifts? I would recommend clutchless upshifts between 6000 - 8000 rpm for all gears excluding 1st to 2nd.

                                Please tell me the problems you faced with aprilia SR 150 since I'm about to add a scooter to my garage and it will be helpful?
