Nice pointers, esp the protruding rear-turn-indicators. Others were pointed out earlier.

I guess Gixxer has single horn instead of a dual-horn(frequency-split) courtesy of the meager 3Ah battery. Not sure why they went with it.

Can you light-up main headlight without starting the motorcycle? i.e. it is said to have DC-setup; not sure if it's from battery.

Nice observation here, should be evident with a pillion.

              Hi all,

I got a new problem with my Gixxer, my front wheel rims upon cleaning with water make a squealing sound often, only when I ride the bike between 5-15kmph speed.
Shown in service centre but problem doesn't solve. Disc brake, suspension shocks are all just fine ,got it enquired from service centre.
I get this noise after cleaning my front rims only even that's confirmed. What needs to be done.
              Please help and reply soon.

              Thanks

I think the delay is bcoz of the color u chosen. How long u've been waiting to get the bike ? I think they are creating artificial demand. I know that they have huge stock in godown.

Note: They ask you to come in the evening @ 6 for delivery. Prepare yourself before 6 pm. You cannot check nothing during that time.

Thats not the problem :P my bike is there in godown, I can take it and ride without registration but I don't want to double my work of going to register again. They said this is some fresh lot. And that they need to receive the list of chassis and engine numbers and manufacturing details from suzuki through their server. They haven't received it yet and hence they are not able to fill the necessary in the form for registration. It sounds so lame for a big company but all I can do is just believe them. I want to get the bike anyway on monday :P :P Just two more days, hopefully.

I think you have to check for any dust in the axle. Check for dust or water logging in disc brake unit. I do not know how is it possible to get noise from rims :/

Yes, did clean everything bro. Actually the sound vanished when I took the bike to SVC and they lubricated it. After 20 days when I cleaned the front wheel rim the sound is back again. Thanks for the reply.

You can get it done but before any mods please confirm with Suzuki service manager......it should not void ur warranty....plus i feel personally that clip-on will spoil the look of the bike.....mudguard can be modified but again will cause problems for other riders in rainy season....its up to you...pz do post picz i u go ahead with clip-on....!!!

One major problem I'm experienced in my Gixxer is that when I drove for more than 10kms my hand (palm) started to pain . Sometimes this is very bad that I stop for 5mins aside

Still waiting for your feedback on the MOTUL 7100 FS 10W40.
I have one right now in my bag. Itching to replace the 20w40 in my bike. Can't wait for your performance review.
Also, can slightly thicker oils cause engine e to become sluggish like the 20w40 in my bike.
Had a long drawn out discussion with my SVC..ride my bike and all...and we were at an impasse. Didn't agree on sluggishness. Now I have decided to run another 1k on this oil and then test the 710)...
