Hope it sounds exited for AS owners, faster than Duke 200 . Good, that is very remotely possible for NS or AS. But Is it Vbox tested?. Console meter has Speedo error. Also 148 kph is seriously not possible for NS/AS/RS unless sprocket change or ridden in a down slope. If a sprocket change is done, it can't hit a high top speed without compromising sprint.

A sprocketing can help to some extend. I remember seeing an ns hitting ~7.7sec (which in real world ~8.5sec) after change in sprocketing and losing weight.

Can both beams be used together? The projection and the high beam? Thanks.

IAMBIKER doors top speed on every bike. He is very skilled in it. And he does it in stock bike. So not bad for as to reach 148.

More torque at less RPM benefits
            1. Less Heat
            2. Less Engine workload
            3. Better mileage
            4. More comfort
            5. Less sound and smoke
            6. Improved NVH finally

Now what is so different here is, with 6th gear, besides producing torque at higher RPM, new Pulsars can cruise almost at same rpm level if not exact. Say P220 @ 5000 rpm in 5th gear runs @ 80, where as a 200NS might take 5200 rpm to do 80 in 6th gear. Also because it spins 1000 rpms more, it still can produce almost equal amount of twisting force besides having 20cc less. Now the liquid cooling and exhaust fan comes to solve this part. Extracting more juice from a smaller engine will make it so hot sooner. On contrary, see RE350 bikes. It does not rev and run faster, hence engine will heat very less compared, so besides having huge CC, it does not need a cooling system.

But this is all true for 60-80. Things suddenly will start to change above that for all competing bikes here. At 110-120, none will stand close by. And 200NS\AS\RS are capable of cruising all day at such speeds without engine losing it's life.

Final words: If you like cruising, get a motorbike which has good amount of torque. RE is a good cruiser upto 80 kph. Beyond that, they are not trusted for handling. Mojo is another example. But no idea how it is
Thanks jbm_guy. RE's are best enjoyed only between 60kmph - 80kmph.Any other speeds, it vibrates.
That theoratically should make pulsar 220 a better tourer over AS.
How is the riding position of AS compared to 220 for both commute and long drives? Does 220 still have front fork dive on panic braking like other pulsars?
I know handling wise other pulsars dont hold a candle in front of NS/AS. Also, i felt 200 begs you to accelerate hard . Never driven 220, is it more relaxed to drive somewhat like karizma?

Don't get me wrong bro, just my opinion. I understand he is skilled. But theoretically how can you reach speeds beyond what manufacturer suggests?. AS and NS tops out at 136 while RS at 141 kph. Anything beyond this requires either modification or maybe wind or road support. Provided the AS rear sprocket compared to NS will only make less top end. AS gets a bit upper hand since it has a wind shield. Also as per the concept, there also will be a trade of for top end vs acceleration.

P220 is a better tourer bike compared to 200NS. But not with AS200. AS200 stays a bit ahead of P220. As I said, even at high speeds, the engine sounds calm and refined. I hate to hear the sound of P220 roaring when driven beyond 100 kph. My NS does it so calmly. P220 is relaxed, good ride quality (Suspension), good seats.

I don't think we should compare P220 with Karizma. Karizma carries Honda engine with Hero tag. Karizma engine refinements are good compared to P220, but rest like high speed stability, performance, cornering ability and braking, new gen Pulsars stand ahead. It's only Hero that left this motorcycle of no use today. Like Bajaj they could have brought something new, but all they do is cosmetic changes. Now Hx250 is even in remote dreams.

Yes you are right but he did it.considering the speedo error 148 was also achieved by another guy I saw in Facebook.the engine is no doubt more refined than NS but may be they tweaked a bit for top speed.plus the wind shield also helps.
The road he tried is common for every bike topnspeed.I also asked him in YouTube if he tweaked it was it stock and he replied it as stock as all bikes the IAMBIKER tries for are always stock

                    Guys

I am 5'9" and facing real problem in seating position, I feel like pushed forward near tank after i drive for 5 minutes. Then i have to readjust.

Any known problems or solutions ? Also, I couldn't find seat cover for AS at showroom.

Yes, AS engine refinements are bit better than ns, like last ns batch having better refinements over 2012 models. [MENTION=63830]deep007[/MENTION], with speedo error correction applied, you were doing about 134-136, that's the max of 200ns [emoji2]

But if without a tweak or upgrade, it's so hard to believe and convince my mind [emoji6] [emoji2]

Castrol oil? Why do you want to ruin your bike so early? Because, I don't think Castrol has a 20w50 oil.
See, you can top-up with any oil, just make sure the grade is 20w50 or 15w50.
