As far as I know, the clutch cable is already lubed at the factory and additional lubing with oil or grease causes its breakage. So be careful.Originally posted by fadeawayraj View Post

@Punarvasu:::
In my bike oil drain bolt doesn't tightens properly...Checked the bolt and it's ok..Checked the threads in the engine case and found that the threads has gone because of over tightening by myself..
I'm going to replace the parts involved in the coming service..
Which parts needs to be replaced? Any idea?
Checked with the stores person at SVC and he said it'll be only the oil cup which costs around Rs.200.. He again asked me to inform him during the service for his reference..

Replacing the cup he mentioned is enough here as it is a separate part. Ask them to clean the oil strainer at the time of replacing it.Originally posted by gmagesh14 View Post@Punarvasu:::

Thank god I didnt messed up with the engine case.,Originally posted by punarvasu View PostReplacing the cup he mentioned is enough here as it is a separate part. Ask them to clean the oil strainer at the time of replacing it.
To my surpreise, they got the stock of that oil cup and didnt bite the pocket though which now brings a big relaxed smile on my face..

Noticed some metal particles during the oil drain today..
Some particles are left inside and found them while filling the oil..
I'd replaced the oil filter too, so can I run the engine with this oil itself or I should opt for an oil change
after servicing..

Your bike is not new and it is not the first or second servicing and the possibility of seeing metal particles in the oil is rare.Originally posted by gmagesh14 View PostNoticed some metal particles during the oil drain today..

If the oil is collected in a clean bowl, you can use it again but it depends your mind. If you feel that it is to be replaced, do so.

Strange behavior of Ape RR
ya. using the stock coil only.Originally posted by punarvasu View PostYour posting is useful to all but please correct the gear ratios because it is modified now. The bike you bought is of 2011 batch.
Are you trying to use the stock coil?
Ape RR is not charging the battery as soon as the engine is switched on. suddenly its gives the charge after 1 or 2 mins after engine is started. Since I have the ammeter i can monitor this...
Friends have you anyone got the similar behavior of ape rr ?

Dont know how the metal particles does present there.. Might be bcos of the damaged thread, while opening it would've entered the corners of the oil cup ..Originally posted by punarvasu View PostYour bike is not new and it is not the first or second servicing and the possibility of seeing metal particles in the oil is rare.
