    That's true.

It seems that you are nearing the reserve level of fuel. Depending the mileage, you can go another 50 or so kms before reaching reserve. If the petrol pumps are nearby, continue riding till you see the flickering in the fuel gauge.
But either we call blinking/flickering (suppose to be flickering as per manual), it should be only after hitting reserve and when there is around 1.5l of fuel left..
    Isn't it?

Murali, check once again whether the fuel knob is rotating tightly/little freely (Feel the rotation)..
On the 1st day of my bro's bike I over turned it in reverse direction with which it has got broken inside..It has got stucked at OFF position, but it felt like rotating normally and we took it for a ride.. Found it after a km when it came to halt and failed to start that day..

OT:: Sorry MSN1,didnt went to service center today .. Today my ride is taking rest along with his Pride (It's me )..So might be 2mrw or monday I'll confirm you for the sticker.

I need an urgent help from your exp. I got my new GS150R last week. When I took delivery, the dealer gave me the bike with 0.5 LTR of petrol. I immediately filled it with 10 LTR. The fuel indicator was showing 3 blocks. Now I have done 370KMS on ODO and still running on main (the fuel knob). But today evening while coming back from office I can see the last block blinking , inspite of me still riding in main. As per the manual, the last block is supposed to blink only when the fuel hits below 1.5L. and reserve capacity is ~3L. Why this conflict?

What should I do now? Refill next day or take the bike to SVC? Please help me
Today morning when I started to office, its same as yesterday. The last block blinking & fuel knob on main. As suggested by Maestro i did check to see if the knob is fixed upside down. I pushed the knob to reserve from open position. Now if the knob is placed incorrectly the engine should have stopped, but it didn't. More confusions. Then kept the knob in close position to check if the knob itself has any problem. After a few meters the bike stopped. Then once again I moved the knob to main. Drove for around 2 KM and the engine stopped. Turned the knob to reserve and continued for 1 more KM. Went to petrol bunk and filled in exactly 1LTR. Now the blinking last block stopped blinking and is in full block mode. Turned the knob to main and reached office.

Thus I believe, in my bike the blinking of the last block seems to indicate nearing reserve (< 3 LTR) as apposed to user manual claim of < 1.5 LTR or could be the other way around. Need to double check on this.

Tried. The knob is neither tight nor smooth. But hopefully it is working fine

may be a problem with sensors in fuel tank, better consult ASC

Everyone has his own arguments to support or oppose this method and let them argue but if you need to know the exact mileage of your bike, do this test.
If the result is poor, your bike needs to be checked thoroughly at the SC for fuel leak to clogging in jets.
You cannot expect the mileage will increase after first or second servicing as the servicing is mere oil and oil filter changing and tightening some nuts and bolts. The best mileage by bike ever got was 71 kml before the first service. The later test ride result was 70 kml.
Buddy that will only tell how long it can go on straight road with no obstruction..... So I believe in having a large database of all the refuelings I've done and that will tell me exactly how much petrol my bike has drunk and how far it has travelled with that. I've already shared a link of that which I keep updating daily......... Also, my last avg came out to be 51 kmpl, which was quite good considering my riding........

Will be putting my bike on service tomorrow, any tips for that????

That may be true even though this method is widely accepted.

                          • Been a week that I have been riding this bike. Felt very heavy on the first day as I used to ride a HH CD 100. But as the days have passed this wild beast has turned into a tame bull. I am aware of its power but now I feel I am in control of it. Counting my days for the run in period to end. I know the power it has but cant unleash that in the roads now. Its a test of my patience.
On the 3rd day when I was riding to my office, a Scorpio just zoomed besides me and the front passenger seat kept looking at me. I felt very odd and when I looked back to him, I found that he was admiring the vehicle. Asked me whats the bike model and the mileage before zooming away. Colleagues are all in admiration since I am the only one with this bike in my whole team, sets it apart from the usual pulsars and apaches :-). They all love the white color on it. Few even asked to doa TD on it and liked it instantly.
Caught a few people from the opposite direction of the road staring at my bike. I am loving it.

Friends from Bangalore, could you please tell me the best Suzuki authorized service center here? I bought my bike from Aryan Suzuki, Thubarahalli, White Field Main Road. How is the service there? Your suggestions will be very helpful.

As far as my understanding goes, if Aryan Suzuki is close to your current residence then continue to have service there. If you're not satisfied with the service then you've exp owners here to guide further.
