Hearty welcome.Originally posted by vikhyath View PostI accepted the delivery of a new greenish blue GS150R today. Feels good to hear the soft rumble of the Suzuki engine again!
For me too.Originally posted by vikhyath View PostApart from that its hard for me to point out flaws with this bike. My main priorities were FE and comfort which this bike fulfills perfectly.
Originally posted by abdriver2000 View Postthe upgrade is only cosmetic in nature with no mechanical change.
It is not easy.Originally posted by Gagan0123 View PostI was wondering if there was any way to tell whether the bike is abused or not by the dealer before buying?

Congrats Vikhyath..Originally posted by vikhyath View PostI accepted the delivery of a new greenish blue GS150R today. Feels good to hear the soft rumble of the Suzuki engine again!

Today my bike hit the reserve at 729kms for 14.63lts of fuel... A 50-50 mix of city & highway riding..
Rode mainly in the range of 80kmph and I almost ripped my bike all the time...
FE of approximately 50kmpl is very better for that kind of riding & for that speed too...
Total kms done so far 6836...Last edited by gmagesh14; 02-02-2012, 12:14 AM.

Absolutely, and you will have more of these divine experiences when you would encounter close shaves on a daily basis due to the road conditions and options prevalent in our nation.Originally posted by Gagan0123 View PostI don't know about god, but the only divine experience I have is while riding my bike,Hell's Angel

Engine oil
One small service time query:
Which mineral oil would be better for daily commuting of 40kms(80% highway and 20% city)?
My dealer is using MAK lubricant for my bike which is doing its purpose well. But i am in a mood of changing it to any other engine oil so guys please suggest me a good engine oil with its price.Last edited by Nagamani; 02-02-2012, 12:55 AM.If you ride like there's no tomorrow there won't be...

Don't exactly know what you wrote(though scored 100% in Sanskrit, but that was long ago)....Originally posted by punarvasu View PostIsavadyam idam sarvam, yat kincha jagatyam jagat!
The fact is, I am neither a believer nor a total atheist, I haven't yet figured out whether there is god or not.

Thanks to the Govt, in our city the roads are quite good.Originally posted by MACH50 View PostAbsolutely, and you will have more of these divine experiences when you would encounter close shaves on a daily basis due to the road conditions and options prevalent in our nation.
And I usually go for such rides on four lanes outside my city. I drive for as long as I feel like going on, and then take a U turn and return back home...
My longest such ride was around 400KM and my avg speed on that trip came out to be between 95 and 100 kmph.

I don't know much about oil, but I've been suggested to use Motul 300V 15W50 for my bike many times on this forum.Originally posted by Nagamani View PostOne small service time query:

Though it costs more than other oils but the smoothness in ride is worth it.

Its not right time for your bike to switch to synthetic or SS. So say Yes to mineral oil belong to the grade 20W-40
There are many good oil brands available in market, choose the brand you trust, because that's the one super oil which is going to keep both GS engine and your mood smoother and better.
Few brand names for you motul, gulf, elf, Castrol orginal, valvoline and many more.
@ gagan0123,
The below stansa is just a joke from my end on god and demon, I have no other intensions.
If god is not our father then he might be our grand grand father because he is the one who created us.
We are the god for all demons and evil as we only created our own hell and all evil sprits.Last edited by MSN1; 02-02-2012, 02:00 AM.Sarcasm is my automatic response to stupidity
