had a few things done on my bike at SC today. One of those was a warranty replacement of the master cylinder assembly because my brake lever used to compress fully, touching the handle, if held in for a while. Apparently, there was some piston actuation problem at the lever, which supposedly led to 1\10 customers of my SC to complain about my exact issue. Aal iz well on mine after the replacement.
I had a chance to notice a few details about the new model:
> No XTP sticker on the tank!! Why?
> The exhaust end pipe(or whatever you call it) is of a larger diameter than on previous models. Why?
> The master cylinder has BYBRE branding now. So does the caliper.
> Wonder why they removed the fork gaiters.

Hard Gear Shift Problem
Off late i have been experiencing hard gear shift problem.
Inspite of telling the SVC multiple times, there is no expected result.
During my last visit to SVC, this "mech" says it is usual with all GS150. I said my bike was not like this and i know all of them will not have this problem.
He repeats again the same thing..AHHHHHH
Everytime they will adjust the chain slackness and Clutch setting thats it.
I think it is high time that i should take this up with Suzuki.
I have done with my 4th service.
Local mech just drove my vehicle and said the sprocket rubber is gone and feels some problem with the clutch for which he will have to open and see.
he needs half a day for all this.
I am sure this is the best bike i have driven among my list. But just because of these SVCs, the comapny will loose its value.
I want to post a complaint on the suzuki website, is it the feedback section where i am suppose to post?

I am not sure but it is heard that you can use mineral oil after using FS. In my opinion, it is better to use mineral or SS oil.Originally posted by Vikshe View PostHey guys finished 4 th service @ 7,800 KM, though oil changed but will try for SS or FS shortly, now the question is can we change again to mineral oil after FS as most people tell NO....

)
EDIT: Just noticed the suzuki emblem near keyhole. I don't have it in my new GS. Is it possible to get it?

Welcome back to our family, Firegun. But I have strong doubts about how the modifications affect the insurance of the bike. Getting these changes approved by the registering authorities and made the color changes recorded in the RC too will be difficult.Originally posted by firegun View PostNow i just made a small cosmetic upgrade to my GS, just completed the upgrade from OEM BLUE to OEM white and i am happy to share those pictures here

Many Thanks for all your inputs
Friends,
Before planning for this cosmetic upgrade, Last month i met with an accident(a street dog crossed inside) and complete left side got scratched, headlight was crushed into pieces, Thank god i and dog was safe with the small cuts here and there, so i asked the service people to replace the entire thing with white colour and also i appealed for insurance claim and again thank god insurance people accepted for the claim
(reliance insurance claim ID:2121045885)
This is the story behind this cosmetic upgrade

total cost is Rs 19000( 10700 was the claim given by the insurance people, i am quite happy with it)

Yea i asked the RTO people here before making this upgrade, they said i need to pay about 750 to update the RC and its possible, after the work is over i will post a scan copy of my RC here
i think you can replace that Handlebar clamp with old modelOriginally posted by josettan View PostJust noticed the suzuki emblem near keyhole. I don't have it in my new GS. Is it possible to get it?
