Apart from this im still in the break in period and my odo meter reads 275 and most probably i'll give for 1st service by next week.
About the headlight beam adjustment, Can it be done by ourself or by the service centre guy? Any body could throw some light on this?

      Cheers!

By service centre guy ,bcos he only know the screw which one to adjust, keep ur low beam below u get good light better than before with more wide area, but as u said intensity is bad only

        • Folks,
You all can adjust the light position all by yourself, you need not visit the SC for that. You will need a philips screw driver which is also called as "Char muh wala screw driver" by many mechanics. If you bend down & check the headlight, there is a hole provided where you can insert the screw driver & turn clockwise or anti clockwise for the adjustments. If you refer the manual provided they have clearly mentioned how to adjust the light.
I am planning to change my headlight bulb to 55/60w bulb. Will post the pictures once its done.

Till then enjoy riding & ALL THE BEST to all those who are trying to adjust the beam.

          • Update on my second service

Hi guys.... I finished my 2nd service today.... 2900km on the ODO... Service done at Swapna suzuki, chennai

            1) I asked for a teflon coating. They said they have bike polishing. I said ok. They charged me 400 bucks for the polish. Its wurth bike polish. They gave me a coupon. With that I can get a free bike polish within 6 months. The bike looks glossy and shiny. Looking brand new

            2) Since i have not completed 3500km they said engine oil wont be changed and i have to come after 3500km to put the oi... I insisted them to change the oil now itself as i cant waste another day for this... Any issues with this?

            3) Bike is a bit smoother. Gear shifting is smooth. Today i found that down shifting is very smoother if i shift when rpm is below 2.5k .... Anyone noticed it?

I had written to suzuki about various isues i faced with the bikethrough their feedback section in their website on Wednesday afternoon. in 2 hours i got a call from Mr. Vinod Natarajan (Service Head, South) from Gurgaon. He listened to me patiently and directed me to ABT , Chennai where one Mr. Kalyan was incharge.
Seems like Suzuki is only interested in attending to Customer's Complaints who reside down South. I think akfara had also sent an E-mail and he also got an immediate response.

Sadly, that does not seem to be the Case in the Western Part. I have sent 2-3 E-mails from GS150R Website as well as Suzuki Website over the past month. Still No Response from Suzuki.

Overall, i am satisfied with the Product GS150R but am not impressed with the A.S.S., be it the Dealer or the Company Suzuki. Big Letdown.

              Suzuki, u listening?

                    • AFAIK... You can go to any lining works shop and get it done... you can order seat covers by choosing the type of material you want.... they will make them for you... You have many choices...

Actually I got a bullet cover for the bike... Since GS is lengthier than pulsar, the guy asked me to take the bullet cover... It fits perfectly

                            Kumar,
Sorry for the late posting,as I had been on a ride & hence could not reply.I have not made any circuitry changes. What I did is just removed the 35/35w bulb & put this bulb & dettached the front pilot lamps.

After installing the bulb, rode in the dark for couple of hours & found that the brightness has increased by slight margin NOT a big difference, hence will be changing back to 35/35w Philips & plan to install aux lights Hella 450 which will be done after the rains so kindly bear with me.

The reason I am switching back to 35/35w is that the bike's electricals cannot produce enough power to power a 55/60w.Also when I press the PASS button the bulb comes to life very late & its sometimes very scary.Since the attempt was a failure NO PICTURES attached .

                              • Hi guys mine is black gs, im very scary to wipe /clean the surface of the bike.becoz im parking atmost dusty area ie construction area. since i had teflon how long i shouldn't clean or rub the painting by cloths.i tried once i feel lite scratch on the body...now im worrying why i bought this black...cleaning is damn tough....already it lost his new looks(just 10 days old 450 km done).

i feel pick up is less in my gs compared to cbz & uni.still 3500rpm vibes all my bke, weak head lights, littel vibes in tank, liitle vibes is back side when i cross speed breaker/humps ,no engine guard, ohh...my good give me
                                a solution....
