    Oh....Man I can't believe this....
I did not expect them to be this careless....

I think you did the right thing by bashing them.....I don't think anybody can confuse a Q to an L.

Anyway check once if everything is right in the RC book, the model, Chassis details engine number etc....

            • [QUOTE=vensan;256688]hi friends,

my complaints during 1st serives vs after service conditions (red) are,

              1. I couldn't find my actual millage(plz find the reason in my earlier post).
after service: i m not checked yet...will post later
              2. gear box was very smooth in up/down shifts till 500km.....later space between the gear bocomes more and more...some times i need to keep on puss ...and started sound while chnaging the gears....(this was the major complaint ,which makes my gs under observation of sc guy)
after service: no improvement.....still the gear to gear more space i must push 2wice to gear up/down......sound while changing gear still continue.....and now i m getting jerk during releasing clutch after changing gear...
              3.In low speen bke makes non-sense sound..upto 35km in in 3rd gear
              after service: quite ok
4.3.k rpm vibe/resonanace in allthe gear and all the speed.
after service: no change still the same condition.
              5.rear brakes problem.
after service: much better than before, but front disc they made very low
6.rear suspension makes noice when i cross the speed brakes some times it feel lke back wheel without air...
after service: fine...im not tried hardly
7.pick up-----bocoem low day by day...till i reach my speed 50km/h ..100cc bke is easliy overtaking me.
after service: bit improved, still initial pick up very low.
              8.1st gear neutarl lights blinking.
              after serivce: rectified.
              9.poor head lights...
after service": changed focus....but no use,dim light

                  Hey Bro....

Do not worry....all bikes have some probs until the 1st and 2nd service...

As you might have read in the previos threads the engine and gear box takes some time to break in. You are bound to face some probs in gearbox....engine noise etc...

But do not worry they will be solved once the bike runs for few thousand kms....

so just list out the probs you are facing now and convey the same to the SC guys and make sure they solve those...

Hey... i'm seeing many people concentrating on problems here rather than the features and advantages of GS, yes... bike takes sometime to get adjusted to the environemnt... what all i wanted to say is give it sometime and it will prove itself to you. All problem reported till today in GS are like brakes, lights and vibrations etc. in most of them are rectifiable, like change the bulb for poor light, adjust the brakes for better grip, regarding vibrations around 3.5k, trust me this will disappear as times goes. dont get to problems and keep thinking about it.

I really feel this bike is much better then any other 150cc bike upto 70k range, this is direct sibling of suzuki's world bike GSXR.

Earlier i also had some issues/thoughts when the bike was new as i was used to pulsar for almost 4 years, but now really i feel this bike is far better than that, and never regret my decision.

If you ask me i will give 100 out of 10 for this bike, complete satisfaction.

Please note i'm a commuter not a racer... but still loves speed and likes to overtake most of the bikes on the road, by this you can make out my review about the bike. its always good to say about the reviewer as well for more clarity on the review.

                        ++1 to that....

I completely agree with sharshas.....even though I do not own the bike.. I test drove it 4-5 times and my friend has the bike from 4-5 months and I drive his bike most of the times. I have a pulsar 150dtsi 3years old.

We alternately change the bikes everyday to the office. I really tell you this bike is far more superior than most of the bikes in the market.

I agree with sharshas about the bike being a commuter but can match for speed also with most of the bikes of this category.
It might not have the snazzy pickup of RTR or probabaly pulsar too...
but the bike has got everything in it for commuting and long drives too....

the comfort factor is top notch and mileage is also a plus factor....

sure it will take some time too settle down....any bike in the market cannot be perfect from the word go.....it depends on how you handle the bike, maintainance and your riding capability....

as you might a unicorn for example is a very good bike but it depends on the person who handles it...I have seen a 3 year old unicron running nearly 25K kms in top condition with good mileage also I have seen a Unicorn 1.5 years old in a bad condition with lot of gear and mileage probs...

All bikes in the market have some negatives...no bike is built to perfection....its just that....we began to expect too much.....

no bike in the market is built for doom....with the current mordern technology all bikes coming out will be good....just that it takes time to settle down...

the GS is really a very good bike with lot to offer than most of the bikes....just give it some time and it will one of the best in the market...just that people are a bit weary about the Suzuki brand name...

So finally the positives are more than the negatives...so just enjoy it...do not dig too much....sometime Ignorance is Bliss....

Sorry for such a big post....has to write my point....

                        10 out of 10

                          + infinity

Most of the GS owners are first time bike owners and those who are 2nd or 3rd bike owners compare this to their old bikes and find some things which they call "negative" but are really subjective to them only. I mean its obvious to compare with old bike, but its not just all. "No offense to anybody at all". Every company has some speciality both features wise and technologically. Suzuki differs from from other companies. For ex. GS initially may not be smoother as unicorn, but after u ride few thousand kms u notice its getting smoother n smoother.... A friend of mine bought unicorn 3 months back and when he rode my GS, he was regretting why he didn't buy GS. I don't at all have any complaints about bike... brakes and headlight are "enough" if not good. Read the Zigwheel's test review. On last Sunday, I tested my GS in very very worst road and weather conditions and GS proved to be "best of best" in quality !!!! I scare to post photos of what I did and where I took my GS... some of u will just think Im mad.. I bet no other GS owner on xbhp would have taken their bike to such extreme places !!!! Nothing at all happened to my bike. Its all perfect.

U may get disappointed even if u over expect from say any German car...

SO just be cool guys.... Enjoy ! Be proud. U own a little brother of Gixxer !!

                          Well said Guru 007 ...

Even i agree with u buddy
Every thing under the sky will have negatives and positives as well....
My GS gives only a mileage of 37kmpl. But as u said it we have to give sufficient time and be patient enough to settle down things....
2day i went to the service guys to get it tuned... i had to test drive three times with the mileage measuring can almost 30kms.... Finally could achieve only around 43kmpl
But anyway i remained and co-operative with them.. Since this bike is new and newly introduced. We should give some time...
At the same time i saw one owner firing the SC guys for some issue which didn't look good
When i pointed that out to Mr. Ram Kumar (Sales Person ABT n my friend) he repeated that for co-operative customers, they feel like treating them with better care and service
They told me that i can drop in again if i feel the mileage is less

                            Now!!!
                            I need Sivakumar's advice here
My bike has only ran about 2100kms...
                            Mileage was less than 40...
Should i wait for some more kms for mileage tuning???
                            Will it improve by time???
                            Explain brother

honestly run in period is over, so no further improvement (marginally increase after second service)

will you warm up your engine before its usual usage, whats your driving cycle i mean how many kms/day? if you drive more distance continuously it will give better mileage

you should contact service center for low mileage

before approaching service center, just add extra amount of petrol(more than 5 litres) and check the mileage for last time(50-60kmph range) try to ride atleast 25kms continuously.

I ride for about 10kms per day only.....
                                At times longer ones..
                                I usually don't warm up...
I i have too how long should i warm up??
Whatever may be the driving condition, i guess 37 is too low
