Its really a good bike....I mean...if you see it...it really feels good in the heart.....I hope you guys understand....what I mean...

That is the main reason I want to buy the bike...I never felt that for any other bikes except for my Pulsar....

Enjoy your riding Bro...and keep posting your experiences...

i still own pulsar, i didnt sell it as its AP registration and i still love that bike...

Dont transport your brand new bike, if you gonna stay in hyd for long time then purchase it or if you have any plans to come back to bangalore then i seriously suggest you to wait and get the bike in bangalore itself as re-registration is painful and costly...

if you need any more information then you can send me a personal message.

      Hey bro...that's really a heavenly coincidence...though a inverse one....A common Black pulsar...you have a AP reg. and I have a Karnataka reg.
You are now in Bangalore with AP reg and I am now in Hyd with a Karnataka reg.... and you have bought a new GS and I am going to buy one soon... probably a Orange one...too....

Thanks for the suggestion...at present I do not have plans to shift to bangalore....probably..atleast another...year or two...

I too love my Pulsar very much...but to fund the new bike I have no option I have to sell it....

Pardon me please but as I am new to this forum...I am not sure how to post a personal message....surely I need you help and suggestion in this....

This might be the result of the pulling of the bike when got punctured... Nothing to worry... very common... if you are not happy then ask for replacement...

            • Hello all,
I got the delivery of the bike yesterday evening, but the showroom service (Swargate Pune ) was a big letdown . They allotted me a different bike to the one i had selected. They told me it had some mechanical issue , i CHECKED the new bike thoroughly and didn't find any issues. Since i drove in the night for some time in a pitch dark lane, i found the headlight to be surprising bright same as pulsars......the light focus was on the road as some of xBhpians have said.....Will post the complete review later in a few days but till now i am amazed by its stability at low speeds even though it is heavier compared to Pulsar 180

Also guys do we require to do PUC for new bikes?? my friends told me that for 1 yr its not required ??

P.S. Thanks a lot for all XBhpians for helping choose this bike .........i hope your valuable advice will keep coming on in Future as well

              • 1st service done

                friends,

completed my first service at 760kms. listing below some issues and the status now:

                1. sound coming from rear chain/saree guard over bumps - rectified
                2. pickup dropped to 25kpl in last cycle - got 48kpl after 1st service. seems much better now
                3. rear brakes lacking bite - status quo. have to get used to it i guess. The front discs are awesome and the saving grace.
                4. headlights lacking focus - rectified. much better than before
                5. Gears were getting little rough - now butter smooth!
                6. Had handlebars adjusted by SC mechanic.

Bike does seem much smoother. engine has become much more free revving. It is truly a joy to cruise on the bike.

                cheers
                Srinivas

It is good to have an end to journey towards; but it is the journey that matters in the end.

which spare will shoot.i go with remote loacking system(xeonous, spell may wrong).

CAN WE PALACE THE REMOTE LOACK FOR GS150.bcoz my friend fixed the same in his FZ.in next 2 days engine is not able to start, weak of battery.Eevn his battery is stronger than GS since no kick in FZ.

                      • Second Highway Xperience

                        Hello all,
Last weekend I went home in my GS... Here are the things noted.....
                        Negatives first...
                        1. Engine Choking problem continues to be as is... When i start the bike and ride it for around 20 mins,.... till them no problem irrespective of speed till 90 Kmph.... but after that engine starts to choke, I get jerks at 60Kmph at 6th gear, sometimes I get even at 44Kmph 4th gear... My instinct says there is some block in the fuel supply to the engine that gives this jerks... what say guys... did any one get a chance to discuss this with the SC guys ???
                        2. Bad Rear brake is really a problem at the highways.... when cruising at say >90Kmph, suddenly some one or something comes in between, then how safe are the discs ? I did not have any problem though but still my mind still ponders about that situation.
                        3. Milleage drops to 45Kmpl when travelling in 90 - 100 Kmph range... I think if I try to touch 120 then i might end up in somewhere around 30-35 Kmpl... Is this OK ???
                        4. The seats could have been a little bit softer since my butt aches on travelling for 2 hrs...
                        5. After choking problem sets in engine roars badly after crossing 80 Kmph mark...(I think some thing is wrong with the sound; the engine sounds amazing even at 90Kmph before choking problem sets in)

                        Positives...
                        1. Amazing bike in highways.... Absolutely stable irrespective of crosswinds.... even at >100Kmph....
                        2. Good Higher end pickup is even more exciting i.e from 70 - 100 Kmph range.. too good man...
                        3. The ride quality and pleasurable xperience is at its best....

This was my second highway experience.....

During the ride I noticed some rust inside the petrol tank as some guys have posted. [Orange GS so color is immaterial, happens for all]... Can some one help me how to demand a new tank to the SC guy as my bike is scheduled for second service this weekend....??

Are you sure that this bike can pull better than tha R15 ??? I doubt... I think R15 has a 4 valved engine[correct me if I'm wrong here] and so the total pulling capacity should be more than that of the GS.... also correct me if what I've understood is rubbish

Write a letter to the service centre mentioning your problem & also take an acknowledgement from them. Also bring it to their notice during the second service and tell them the problem.
Also they would inform you that you will have to wait for couple of days if they do not have a tank which is obvious.

Meanwhile log on to their website & lodge in a complaint there also.

Dont worry everything will work fine.
