Exides are very well known for this problem. Not only do they leak, they have a pretty low lifespan too. And now I have observed even Amco has gone the same way. Please avoid buying this trash. Best are sealed batterys like Amaron.

However, you must ensure that the drain pipe is connected, is unclogged and is routed properly before blaming the battery. Also distilled water should NEVER be filled above the max mark on the battery. Remember, most battery dealers and service centers will do this unless you stop them from doing it very pro-actively.

You should certainly demand for a warranty replacement. Take it as high up as possible. Unless you do this, the company has no incentive to use better parts.
It is Exide as per the Bike Manual. Even i have heard that Amaron is Good. How much does it cost? I had given my Bike to the Service Center on Monday. I had told them to either paint or replace the chain cover under warranty. Those stupid Service Center Guys painted Blue Color on my Grey Bike. And a small part of the Cover is still rusted and not painted. They told that they will be getting spares for GS150R including Chain Cover in 10 Days and they will contact me once they have it and will replace it. I have also sent an E-mail to Suzuki India from their Website regarding this Issue. No Response as yet. Lets see how this goes.

      • Guys,

I would like to put the white or yellow line in my Black GS rim, as in FZ-S.
Any suggestions? Is that sticker or paint? How about flurocent paint?

what are the benefits of shell premium petrol to my bike?
Dude, the explaination given by your friends is not correct. Both of them have the same octane rating. There is nothing in them that will make you see any immediate difference. What they will do (if the right stuff is brewed and mixed in the right way) is keep your bike's innards clean over time. And this has nothing to do with whether your bike is a performance bike or a moped. Both will benefit.

Sorry, I don't recall the prices offhand. But when I bought a 2.5Ah last time, the Amaron was a couple hundred more than other brands. If you wanna spend less, than you could consider Base Terminal. Its not sealed though.

Painting is a dicy thing... besides if the corrosion is more than superficial, it will be almost impossible to get it to look like new. Insist on a replacement, if its not upto the mark. If they wanna use the Exide trash, they better be ready to fix the damages it causes, Lol!

It s a sticker job and that sticker is available at Orion Motors in bangalore, Check with your SVC they should point you in the right direction.

I had saw few bikes which they did the same with radium sticker. problem is it is not a good graphics sticker and it will come out soon and will be looking very awkward. so try with some good graphics sticker or coloring.

It was some random shop on Ghorpadi road, just inquired out of curiosity. Rather than spending 300 bucks on the radiums, I'd rather put that in my HID fund
