Its purely driving style one has. Mileage varies a lot as per riding stile, the way bike's run in is done and its regular maintenance.

CBZ Xtreme gives less mileage than GS150R is for sure, But how much difference, its always difficult to give that answer. My old Xtreme never gave less than 55kmpl to me. Xtreme does have more power than GS150R so there is obvious reasons for its lower mileage.

There are peple who claim 60kmpl on Xtreme and also 40kmpl on Xtreme. Its just the driving style that matters. I expect GS150R mileage to be on higher side of 55kmpl if driven very very sanely.

            told them abt following things-
            1). not enough bright headlight..
            2). slug rear brakes..
3). the electrical start switch had some loose connections for me(which i got replaced instantly)..
4). the 3.5-4k rpm engine roughnes..
5). sometimes the engine feels choked as if there is no petrol..(no answer for it yet)..
they themselves started askin me hows it compared to unicorn.. and i gave them a detailed desc.. suggested them to bring GS in few more colors.. i got a pen as a gift.. only a pen.. pple in chennai got t-shirts too..
the jap engrs took test rides of all the vehicle and i was told tht they will look into the 3.5-4k rpm issue.. they got similar reports from all the places.. so they want to see whether its a drawback of vehicle or it was a problem with a specific assembly line.. told me that they will contact me asap.. then they had a stress test of the vehicle.. a heavy pillion on slope and uphill and stuff..
these guys did a tour frm hyd, guntur, coimbatore, chennai and then they came to banglore.. and it was their last stop.. one of them was quite impressed by Mr. Mathew from chennai and i think he is on XBHP..
            Yes buddy!!!
Me too brought out lot of issues (including the vibes @ 3.k to 4k RPM) but i was extremely polite to them in all possible ways.

Since this bike is new, it may have a lot of issues. I strongly believe that if v customers are cooperative to Suzuki people (Even let it be a low level mechanic), v will be rewarded with the best service n consideration.

I believe, that as a proud owner, i too should contribute some ideas and opinions in improving the quality n service of this bike.

So, i am not at all worried about the issues in my bike when a good consideration is offered by Suzuki

                Now u know
I also invited him to join XBHP thread...
Suzuki people from delhi seems to be very helpful and they update me when they visit Chennai
One of of the Indian person whom i invited earlier told me that many fetish comments r being posted either n it is hard for him to get along being a major part of suziki... Since i am only around this thread i am not much aware of this issue. Anyway as far as this thread is considered, people r much matured and sensible in our thread

Ya i can understand how odd it is when they talk off topic, But one thing i really inspire Japanese people, they work efficiently even-though they r not good @ communicating. Had a nice time with these guys n took snaps too.. But one of the Japanese requested not to upload those

                    • I don't think that scooter's bulb can be put in bike, the connectors are different. I have a phillips 35W halogen lying idle at home, but it is of scooter.

Oh ok..then i wouldn't recommend putting a higher wattage bulb..that might hamper other electricals..!!

If you can shell out some money go in for the HID with a 35W bulb..
