There is always a possibility! I am an Orange GS150R owner, so I can answer this query. If you take care of the bike, then it won't fade, but it certainly is not 'no maintenence' color.

naah.. i m quite confused myself after reading all the discussions here and on LET THERE BE LIGHT thread.. so the safest option i could come up with is 35W philips made in germany.. yet to get it.. give us a review of it man
AFAIK, the mechanic can tune your engine to perform well in a specific section.. it can be performance tuning, or mileage tuning.. not sure wat do they do at the technical level though...

@onlyyourspiyu: congrats buddy.. orange looks very sporty..

I got a call from suzuki showroom today.. those engineers are visiting apple auto in bangalore tomorrow afternoon.. now the toughest part is to get some time tomor noon from the office ..

My first service is due by next week, will bring that to their notice and will strongly ask for repair or replacement.

              • First Service

The first service for my GS was done on saturday. The gear shifts 3 4 5 & 6 are doing gr8 after the service. 1 and 2 still have to improve(i mean still not smooth). I touched 80Kmph for the first time in this bike. The feel was awesome. Waiting for a long drive which is due on the end of this month and first week of July where I'll be taking the bike to my home town. I felt the jerk i'd mentioned before but it was not too often as it was before service. may be b'coz now I'm using Shell petrol. The orange button(engine off) loose connection was not done since the spares were not available.
The service center guys in pallavaram showroom in chennai are not upto the mark in terms of service. Its only the small boys who do the job i think. The elder ones responded more sensibly. I feel the performance is improving day by day. I've just clocked 600 as my average is only 500kms per month.

Hey sharshas, you sure about it? The place's Global Village. I am yet to see another GS in the company, was thinking mine is the 1st one.

Hey, GS is a cool bike. I am a new owner and no doubt in the fact that I love it.. Very smooth. Go through the this thread and you will get to know every single thing about this beauty...

Thanks buddy. Yes, while riding the upward slope, the engine tends to increase drastically. Though the pull seems smooth and effortless but the engine sound increases quite a lot. I am considering the reason being its a new bike and it will take some time for the engine to be tuned. Waiting for my 1st service... 300km done already.

Being an orange gs owner myself, can anyone explain what all is involved when it comes to maintanence. Waxing, polishing, frequency...etc??

                            • Query

All the GS owners here, I have a small and simple query...

With GS having a reserve of 2.5l, how can one make out from the console whether the petrol is almost over...

I mean, when the petrol bar starts blinking I am guessing it means I am driving on reserve. But how does one know that even reserve's almost over. Does that one bar also vanishes, or something...??

Hey folks / Suzuki fans / GS150R owners!!!!

I am from Nepal and also happen to own a Suzuki Fiero for 9 years now. Although the bike is still very strong and still has a mean pick-up and power, I am thinking of replacing it. Never had to open the engine... just changed the rear shocks once... very recently. Might have to change the clutch plate sometime soon. So I have had a great experience with Suzuki and was looking for a suitable replacement.
I have been following this thread for some time and think I have found my new bike.
Folks who have ridden the Suzuki Fiero and GS150R might like to tell me if this is a wise choice. Please point out the differences. Thanks!!!

I think Suzuki has yet to launch this bike in Nepal. Hope it does soon.

                                Cheers!!!
