  • Guys.. Please check this out the red markings in the following 2 images.

These images are taken from my bike. The area is near engine, junction of handle & front tire with rest of the bike. Just look at the reckless welding. Is it same in all the bikes or same in all suzuki bikes or just in my bike? And what is that hole in the 1st image(check bottom most red marking in 1st image) at the bottom for? Please reply.

As per your doubt, nothing can be said for either side. Non matching shades is a strong point to the case. Didn't you get choice to select the vehicle beforehand? I was showed 3 vehicles to select one from, and I chose one after thorough visual inspection. Make sure you don't take this matter lightly.
I meant the colour of front doom was few shades lighter and looked plain orange instead reddish orange (rest of the bike has this reddish orange colour). My parents too were able to find the difference in colour. I was never shown any vehicles to choose from, when i went to showroom yesterday i was told that this is the bike allotted to me.

      • ^^ Dude, Just cross check with other similar coloured bikes, and if it's the same then it's theme painting. If not, then u can very well take it to Showroom for replacement!!

The welding is not shining as shown in picture. Thats just my mobile camera but there definitely is lump of weld. I dont know how service center people can do anything about it. Check out your bikes. Anyone else shares this misfortune ??

The dealer claimed to have put in 1 ltr of petrol but i dont know how much they put in my bike stalled within a kilometer's ride. I cudnt start the bike again. I called a friend of mine to get some petrol in a bottle. Pocketting 6k in the name of registration and other expenditures they cant even put in 2 lts's of petrol? I was so furious with the dealer that i wanted to put my fist to his face.

                Coming to my bike,
                1. The engine feels tight giving out wierd noise in rpm's < 3k and it feels smooth above 4k. The idiling rpm set is around 1.5k .... but now & then when i start the bike the rpm goes to 2.5k. Is it because the engine is new & tight or is it a fault which i need to look into. Have any of you experienced this ?

                2. My bike's front mudguard, tank and tail piece all have the same shade of orange. But the head light doom seem to be in a different shade. There is visible difference. Orange bike owners pls confirm on this.

On tuesday when i went you to finalise things for wednesday's delivery i saw another orange bike with broken headlight doom, mudguard standing next to brand new orange bike. My mind tends to think that they have fixed the broken one and delivered to me. I'm losing my sleep over this now.
ya it seems they change something ,headlight doom also in orange only except the windshield........you should consider this one as serious one ,tell the dealer to replace the headlight shade of same color ,otherwise report to consumer court or take the matter to suzuki india.....

i meant that doom is in a different shade of orange and not a different colour all together. my mistake, should have framed the sentence better.

                    • this is really a pity man...
first of all gs150 is not selling properly
and above that those who trust and put their hard earned money are cheated like this
i wonder is some of you have some serious problems with the dealer
who will help because suzuki back up and reply is null.... yes zero

if there were one of two cases people can understand... but every now and then we hear problem

those broken headlights and bad welding etc... are outcomes of the damages caused to the bike during transportation... in that case the dealers should
should return the bikes.... and in case suzuki itself recommends this small fixings than its a serious pity again........

                      anyways lets wait and watch
Hope is a good thing ,
may be the best of things and
no good thing ever dies .

                        • I think don't give too much weightage about the welding n stuff. I know we all like the bike to be perfect to the last drop, but don't get such points spoil your mood or anything. These joints are at such places that very few ppl need to access in the first place. As long as the bike runs perfectly and does its job honestly, some imperfections which are bound to be there can be overlooked

+1, and most of us dont much care about the welding and stuff, i mean by the way it looks!!! cos in most bikes it's not visible cos of the tank scoops and stuff, As far as ur bike is running well, u should be happy!!

this welding is done by welders (not automatic), so dont worry...

definetly Suzuki puts lots of FACTOR OF SAFETY to this welding process

almost all chassis welding is done manually, its very strong than it looks.
