ANYBODY KNOW THE PRICE OF THE PILLION GRABRAIL?.....I SCRATHED IT.....CAN IT BE REPAINTED??
      Wingrider,
Give a complain in writing to the service centre regarding the rusting part & take an acknowledgement from them.Even I had the same problem & have got not only 1 but 2 tanks replaced & the 3 is in line for the change. Also log on to www.suzukimotorcycle.in & write a complain to the service department regarding this.

I think this is a serious problem in the bikes painted blue.Keep a close watch on your new tank also.

You can get your pillion grab rails painted which I think will be a cheaper option than installing a new one & I doubt the service centre will have one in stock.

BTW congratulations for the new ride.

        • My First Experiences with my Bike

Hi I finally got my delivered to Me on 1st august. I am happy with my Suzuki but i still have some issues with my bikes gear box .

          1) My gear Box is not as smooth as the one on which i was test ride by the showroom people i.e thier showroom bike . I travel daily 23km to my office and after 4 days i find my gear box is getting more coarse or rough than it was earlier.. Will it smoothen down .

          2) I can hear the sound whenever the first gear is engaged and its hard. while shifting from 1-2 and 2-1.

          i have completed 160 K till today

Has anyone faced this issue. Can senior members tell me whether it will smoothen with passage of time or do i need to see the service centre before my first service.

The other problem of vibration @ 3500 rpm which i am facing is the universal one so no comments about it .

          Thanks
          siddhesh.

          • hey guys.
i have been following this community ever since i bought ma bike on June 3rd. this bike really rockz. but A.S.S sucks.just before the first service, i had a minor accident.i had to change the head-light, parts near the head light etc. there was a small scratch on the bike's mud guard and they told me not to change it.

After waiting for 2-3 weeks, after contacting them regularly i got ma bike. they told that they changed the mud guard and charged Rs.800.when they gave the bike i was shocked to see that they didn't change the mud guard.after reporting the matter to the manager he returned the money.but this was a really hurting experience.the position of handle -bar was not right and they didn't even correct that.I'm a Suzuki loyal. i owned a Suzuki max-100 before buying this bike.i didn't expect this from them. Suzuki bikes are the best.i love them.but their service sucks.

My gear box is getting smoother and smoother day by day... as for the first and second gear, the sound really comes... I dont know why only 1st and 2nd.... But I'm sure that the gears will become smooth in days to come...

People here have got variations in milleage... some times I've got 60 sometime I've 35... But I've got 53 many times.... If this constantly reduces[Assuming calculating milleage from reserve to reserve and your driving conditions are sane], then I think you need to check with a SC... What kind of sound are you talking about from the engine above 5K rpm ??

Very sorry to hear that buddy....
However properly we drive there r some donkey ass fellows in our locality....
Next time we all should be extra cautious and should have an eye on the speedo...
Since this bike is extra smooth and silent, we don't realize the speed

Take care bubbly buddy... Hope ur bike gets fixed soon...

And keep an eye on the service people... This time i notice that the service people are not up to the mark

                            I shift gears between 4 - 4.5k RPM...
Anyway that is not the reason i think...
Make sure that u bring down the throttle fully when u shift...
At times i take the RPM to 7k above also...
Since my mileage is low, i am sticking to 4k range...

Did you really replace two tanks??? This is annoying.
