BTW me too same boat but what i did is gave 2 coupons 7th and 8th service at a time i did 7th service ,I am yet to do 8th service the time is already like you 1 and 1/2 months more, still by giving the coupon earlier i can do later in 15 days

I dint registered 132kmph ever.........it might be 122kmph,well the traffic that I thought would be away from me and I would have enough road to twist the wires,came right in my face as I decelerated after those 2 secs,observe the video at 1.20secs.If you think that GSR cant accelerate that much in 2secs.......well I cant help it.

Hi All,

Am Lazy it took 7 months for me to reach 5000 Kms on ODO so have to send her for service

* headlamp alignment seems to be slightly tilted towards right from the drivers point of view also need adjust the focus
* no need to change oil or no need to tune the idle or mileage as its good (61 kmpl) My motul will go for another 1 k it seems
* screch sound from disk break and swing arm (rainy days issue)
* back break is sluggish both breaks fine tuning
* Planned to buy engine guard

Guys tell me anything else have to be specifically checked during 4th Service.

probably ill go tomorrow or Saturday

hey can you guys tell me the difference between the 2010 model and the 2009 model, so that i'll know if the dealer gives me the right model(i know this is a wild possibility, but you can never be too cautious )

My old 100c starcity used to give me around 55-60kmpl....
I think u shud tune my bike's carb too....will ya?

Also also regarding screech sound just apply oil were the swing arm is joining my local mechanic did it first time then onwards i do it myself regarding disc sound just use kind of water pressure it is dust settled nothing else works for me at least.

Engine guard hmm interesting do post a pic i think someone here insalled it looks decent enough but will it not reduce the air flow to cool the engine?

@Felix-Ragav:just go and tell the SVC that you were busy in some projects abroad or out of station and that you dint trust your bike to anyone.Hence missed the service period.........SVC people would shout at you for sometime and then would take your bike for service.Thats all.Dont be so concerned.

I seriously don't know whats up with the performance of the 2009 model......people who uses it here can guide you better.

But I can tell you about the 2010 model.

If you want to buy the GSR in Blue or Saffron,the 2010 model is easy to differentiate.2010 Blue and Saffron GSRs have HVT colors,means,the tank would be Blue or Saffron,but the rear panel or what can be called rear three quarters would be black.While on the 2009 models,the entire bikes of these color were either fully Blue or fully Saffron.

But if you choose the Grey or Black model,then look for the exhaust pipe heat shield,its different on 2010 and 2009 models.Because,the Grey and Black bikes are same in color when it comes to 2010 and 2009 models.

As far as the performance of the 2010 model goes,..........I have already updated the performance feats of my bike.

Given below is the picture of a 2009 blue GSR on left,and my 2010 HVT Blue GSR on the right.Look at the difference in the silencer or exhaust pipe shielding and the colors of the bikes too.Hope this helps.

I drove a 2009 model which came for service in SC ,..As U told it got tremendrous (demonic) pickup and i felt the power in clutch itself as the bike looks like ready for wheelie if i release the clutch ...He drove mine and tell me that ur engine give extra noise and rough Agreed that most of 2009 got those stuffs too...i don't think those with these symptoms will perform like mach's
AS i keep on informing it on Suzuki website...no reply..Sometimes confusing with bore and piston replacement is due for me????

So you have the 2009GSR ????

yep!!!! april 2009model 13100 on odo...Suzuki replaces so many 2009 model 's bore and piston as they give bad sound from engine...but done it silently(to avoid rush by most 2009 model)
