why not..........RD350 is a kind of a 2stroke SuperBikeOriginally posted by akfara View Postwhen i check the mileage it was 15kmpl

@all:News is heavily doing rounds in the internet that a Bike called Thunder 150 would be launched by Suzuki in the upcoming months.
It will share engine components with the GS150R and design would be muscular with tank scoops and on the lines of the Slingshot 125.
The retuned GSR mill will have more power,I doubt around 15 bhp and would be equipped with disc brakes both at front and rear.
Though the Bike has been developed for Thailand but it is expected here in India too and would be squarely targeted at the Honda CB Dazzler.
The bike would sport aggressive naked looks, somewhere on the lines of these prototypes or motorcycles:

-Suzuki Thunder 150 morphfighter,a fan concept.

-Suzuki Thunder 150,a concept designed again on the lines which the new bike would flaunt.

This Bike looks like Slingshot, but uses a 150cc engine supplied by Suzuki, known as the Wonjan 150.

Suzuki's own 1250cc Bandit naked version......of all the rumored concepts I feel the new 150cc would draw strong clues from the aggressive naked design that the bike sports.Last edited by MACH50; 01-12-2011, 11:01 PM.Hell's Angel

Thanks, Even i got my black gsr in october 2010 from riya suzuki mulund for 67000/- with free all accessories.Originally posted by pavan_cin View PostI alone started from Airoli on saturday and it took 2h45Min for me to reach pune (Deccan) with short breaks after panvel and lonavala. I stayed in pune@ friends room.
The road conditions are excellent from mumbai-Pune, you will find so many other bikers in the same path even I seen some people doing trip using Activa
.
my friend and me started for mahabhaleshwar on sunday morning and reached m'baleshwar in 2.5 hours (its 125 KM) journey. NH4 is in super condition and from NH4 junction to Mahabhaleshwar is having nice but not great roads like NH4
.
I really enjoyed the ghats in NH4 especially one on the way to mahabhaleshwar from pune(Which is a one way ghat). We reached M'bhaleshwar at 11AM and roam all the points (including ganesh mandir at Wai). We again started at 4:30PM and reached bangalore at 7:15PM.
I returned back to mumbai on monday morning. You can consistently maintain speed of 80KMPH throughout the stretch (Mumbai-pune, pune-mahabhaleshwar)
.
Actually i filled my tank last month with 16L and it given me the 891 KMs on odo(including 470 KM's of trip)@55KMPL
. I think it is very good mileage figure bcz i have maintained speed constantly between 70-90 and reached 100+ in straight and plain roads
.
If you are planning for trip in jan/feb then please carry gloves also which requires while driving in the mornings. All the best.
Yes, definitely need full gloves. i went to shirdi with half gloves 7 my hand were freezing within minutes.

Yes this is out of topic but once in a while for a change we can touch this.Originally posted by akfara View PostIf you will carry on the way guided by human, you will find a HOPELESS END. But if you will carry on the way guided by GOD, you will find an ENDLESS HOPE.

Which Thunder are you talking about 1st one or 2nd one ?????Originally posted by Maestro View Posti seriously hope so......but doesnt the thunder have a twin disc in front!!!!!
The 1st one seems to have twin discs.......though both those bikes are graphic images of the real one rumored and are too overkill of a design for a GS150R mill based 150cc,that they lack sophistication too.
I basically assume that the new one will be hybrid of the third design and the fourth, both of which are production models and would impart better and realistic flair to the bike.
Moreover, the bike might be called Thunder 150 in Thailand as it is the next in line-up after the already present Thunder 125,but in India it might bear the name Slingshot 150 as it goes on sale alongside the GS150R.Hell's Angel

LoLOriginally posted by Maestro View Postand try googling thunder 150....you'll find a GS150R......
........its because it will share engine components of our bike
It would just be something like the CB Unicorn and the CB Dazzler of the Honda.
While it is also rumored that a global 125cc and a 150cc bike is being developed too to take on the likes of R125 and R15.The GSX150R will sport the 150cc Raider engine and the GSX125R which would be the same DOHC engine albeit a toned down 125cc.
Hence Suzuki's speculated next bikes for India.
1.Suzuki GW250
2.Suzuki GSX150R
3.Suzuki Slingshot 150
4.Suzuki unnamed 100cc-the first to be launched among all the above three.Hell's Angel

Pavan...its nice to know that your long bike trip was a success..just a curiosity..how you could carry luggage along with the pilion rider? you used any specialised bike touring bags ? Just curious.. if no problem, post a couple of pics tooOriginally posted by Sumitdey1 View PostHi All,
Last Weekend went on a long trip 500+ kms.
Went to Shirdi on saturday, after Darshan went to Nashik, Stayed overnight there & returned the next day. Very Scenic road.
I have also driven a car in the same route, but the fun of riding is much better than driving...
On highways, GSR was butter smooth.
Had pillion & luggage, but still managed to touch 110kph
No Doubt it is a very able tourer.
And Guru 007
COngrats brother for getting GSR...have a safe and enjoyable ride alwayssigpic

A mixer grinder sound from visor!!!!!!!!!
Hi dear GSPians,
My bike fell down & had to change the headlight assembly & doom. After refixing everything, my bike produces a grinder sound while accelerating & decelerating at around 3500-4000rpm.It comes from visor area.I complained it at SC & they told it is rectified. After 2-3 days it came back. Now i am again going to SC to complain about the same. What may be the reason..any comments about this....
