Hey @neilhamish. I'm an old (and a not-so-active) member of this forum; and a GS owner with 28K on odometer. I too have the same problem; got a few nasty scratches on my dome, the headlight assembly got dislocated and my handlebar has slightly bent. How much did it cost you for these "refixes" or replacements?Originally posted by neilhamish View PostHi dear GSPians,
My bike fell down & had to change the headlight assembly & doom. After refixing everything, my bike produces a grinder sound while accelerating & decelerating at around 3500-4000rpm.It comes from visor area.I complained it at SC & they told it is rectified. After 2-3 days it came back. Now i am again going to SC to complain about the same. What may be the reason..any comments about this....Suzuki GS150R 2009

GS150R::: visor pulsor bush Vs default GS bush which one suits better. based on my ex
I did used both the bushes for my GS followed by rattling snake symptom at 3000 to 4000 rpm and sound intensifies as 3500 RPM
I did writen an article on this forum few hundred pages ago.
Default GS150R bush is designed in such a way that the grip remains good.
The design has a round ling like structure at the bottom side just above the place where the metal nut is placed inside the bush.
The drawback is one need to push hard to make it settle with the inside of frame or the metal structure, during that process the rubber may get worn out.
The other issue is the top part of the bush is so thin thus it may tear off or lose its role under preasure.
The advantage of pulsor bush is its not a great design but simple one
That can be fixed easily and the top leaf like structure which stays between the visor and the frame is bit thicker thus it can be removed and installed easily
Why am writing this now
My another bush make vibes today thus replaced it with the pulsor one it works well.
A set of 5 pulsor visor bush costs you 30 rupees and its ready fit for our default GS visor screws.Sarcasm is my automatic response to stupidity

The total headlight assembly costs around Rs. 3000/- and the handle bar Rs. 350/-. Is there any possibilty to claim insurance? If yes, that will be better.Originally posted by hyderabadi_nawab View PostHey @neilhamish. I'm an old (and a not-so-active) member of this forum; and a GS owner with 28K on odometer. I did not quite understand what you meant by that..........but I had been the Xbhp member since 2004 and I deserve to take some responsibilities of maintaining forum etiquette here.Originally posted by vishnukmdTotally seems to be a pitiful expression of cowardice. How courageous is our youth!
Suzuki GS150r thread is not Suzuki's(SMIL) marketing strategy that it will go haywire due to foolish consideration and assessment of the market or populace.
You like to debate it????? Then please shift to PM(personal message) service instead of going OT(off-topic) here.I would be happy to continue for eternity,if exchanging words in misunderstood situations is the right kind of wisdom.Last edited by MACH50; 01-14-2011, 11:51 AM.Hell's Angel

I do remember you......you were some of the first people here to clock 10k+ kms on odo...even i had a fall and got some scratches and the headlight got displaced.......went to svc....the engineer there told me "kharcha jyada hoga approx 2.3 k for the front assembly + 450 for the metal brackets + 1k for the headlight reflector" told him i'll come later then went to my bro's shop.........there we opened her up and using a fevibond and soldering some metal wires into the crack we finally made it look like before and for the scratches we used the scratch remover pen.....got it for 75 bucks.......so in all an near budget of 4k was reduced to mere 90 bucks......and its running fine......Originally posted by hyderabadi_nawab View PostHey @neilhamish. for handlebar i suggest you to get a new one.....
P.S i drove the bike for about 5kms without the headlight and it felt so light.....it just seemed i was riding a splendor.....

hey guys i have a small problem.
From past few days my bike's front wheel is making "squeek eeeek eek"
sounds during motion.... When i put the bike is centre stand and rotate the front wheel i noticed that the discpads are touching the disc, but that sound is entirely diffrent from what i hear during motion.. What could be the problem?Last edited by manubhat; 01-14-2011, 01:01 PM.Never argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and then beat you with experience.
