It's not an upgrade, it's someone's modified bike, as confirmed on this thread some pages back.

Am not sure after some time or 10000 kms on odo will make it vanish.

One thing is sure after some time you might get used to it so you will neglect it.

To be frank there are many reasons behind vibes, by default ours is a vibe free bike, where as you will feel the resonance at 3500 RPM.

Foot rest vibe may be due to something else why don't you visit the SVC or local mechanic.

        -------------------------------------

All the market players are aiming for profit, but our suzuki seems to plan for profit with out marketing, advertisment and with less number of dealers / service points.

Let's hope they will wake up sooner to realize they are laging a lot behind and have to catchup with rest.

Even am also tempted to opt for DC set up with brighter head lamps, let me consult local experts.

It is from the battery to CDI to ignition coil to spark plug.

And the modified GS is still a dream. This is the last information I have.
Then what is Suzuki planning to do here ???? do you have any information about that ???? If I have to derive a conclusion from what you say, it would be "NOTHING" .....now that is what I call strange

If it is not going to enter any market segments and sell only a 125cc and scooters it will surely die a slow death like the LML and the management knows of this well, if it is to stay in India, it will play to gain the market and not lose it.

Sometimes I do not know why, but you seem to attempt to hide a lot of things Vishnu....or try to mask them........anyway, let all tongues roll, time would roll by itself.

@Vulcan : yup my bike has been fully repaired.

Hey guys, can anyone confirm the prices of the following spares, chain sprocket set, break shoe (front & rear), oil filter. It is just that i need to confirm if my dealer (subdealer actually) is charging the correct price. They have been charging rs.70 for the oil filter. Thanks.

                    Yeah thats right,

but here i have two or three options so trying to check out with all my source and select the apt one.

                    1. my local mechanic
                    2. my usual car accessories shop guy who knows people who do the winding and he said once done we can add even projector lamp.
                    3. have to check if someone can do it in best way at acceptable cost.

                    @ basumataryraj

here in bangalore i got the oil filter for less than 40 rupees at airport road suzuki showroom.

Chain & sprocket set (ROLON) 920/-
                        Brake pads (Disc) 240/-
                        Brake shoe (Rear) 450/-
                        Oil filter 35/-
Ask the mechanic to use ROLON chain and sprocket, as it is better than the stock Diamond chain.

thanks a lot for the information. I will definitely ask for rolon chain set. I was quoted 1300 for the chain set. I am not aware of the brand. It seems I need to complain to suzuki head office about this discrepancy. Thanks, Raj.

The stock chain is making a lot of problems like very frequent stretching etc. The strange metallic hitting sound we hear even if the chain is properly tightened is remaining a miracle as the false reserve of our bike. This is why I asked to try ROLON chain.
If it is not available in the workshop, buy from any two wheeler accessory shop.

I thought this is a inherent problem with our bike..... changing to ROLON will stop this phenomenon..... r u sure?????
