But Im a bit curious on the performance aspect since the plug(cr7hix) is a non projected tip one. So, I just wanted to hear your experiences with it.
Nevermind this....going through some old posts, i found both of you had replied to a very similar query on my part. Looks like Im having some memory loss.
A late thanks to both of you if I had'nt thanked earlier. Any updates on your experiences?
Though the below question still stands.
Also, if a non-projected iridium tip works, should'nt a non projected conventional tip as well? So, isnt cr7hsa a viable alternative?
for whoever it matters: Reading up on spark plugs, I found that the heat ranges aren't the exact same between any 2 companies...Im not talking about the heat range numbering\nomenclature......but the the behaviour of 2 spark plugs for the same heat range from different companies is different because of minute construction differences based on market preferences.
Also, manufacturers, it seems, usually recommend an allrounder plug taking into account its sure working in a wide range of applications....i.e. bottom line for the manufacturer is that the plug must not fail under most operating conditions. In this respect, it seems we have room for experimentation with a slightly hotter or colder plug(or other variables like tip material, electrode layout etc) to get best operation depending on our type of usage.
So, I guess the champion plug is not to be looked at with suspicion just because its a bit colder. I was recommended the cpr6hsa as well at one of the stores on JC road saying that it wont make much of a difference for daily use. I declined since I run the bike at high rpms and didnt want a hotter plug to make things even more hot. Any comments on this?

@gagan: yes. Lot means wherever in the showroom they store the vehicles. You get to pick your vehicle dont you? Go to a showroom that lets you pick it. Everything will happen before you eyes only.
When I got my bike, i used it for a week with shining and empty plates. No one caught me for nothing. But that may have been just my luck. When I did get my numbers, the SC guy chided me for riding around without even a 'for regn' sign or temp numbers. Riding without numbers is probably a serious offense though, because you can easily get way with any crime on an empty plate.

lol...Dont forgot to put a garland at front... Either you've belief or not atleast it'll hide the front number plate...

There seems to be some sort of misalignment! Did you had any recent minor accidents? or bike fell etc?Originally posted by BlackPanther View PostHi I have been facing a small issue for the past 2 months. Unconsciously everyone riding your bike is pushing right handle to keep the bike steady straight on road!

Gave my 10.5k run GS for 5th service today..
Actually today my SVC is Unveiling Swish and hence were very reluctant to accept my bike for servicing but somehow I convinced them.
The cost difference between access and swish is just 750INR and 2 months waiting period.
I asked about Hayate and they are not sure when they are getting the bike and told it would be 5k less than slingshot..

Just check both hands are of at same height/reach when holding the handle bar..Originally posted by BlackPanther View PostHi I have been facing a small issue for the past 2 months. If not then your handle bar might have had bent/misalignment which causes the pain..
As punarvasu said just try lowering the handle bar...Mark the current position, lower a little towards the rider and ride it for some 10kms.. Dont lower it too much,, cables will scratch the tank while taking turns..
Experience it and adjust if required.. If nothing suits you, head to SVC and show them your bike, if it had bent they'll help you for sure...

I have replaced my spark plug in lasts service in Saboo Suzuki SVC@Hyd. They just replaced stock plug with champion P-RZ9HC spark plug(73 Rs).Originally posted by 2strokerama View Post@ all: Is the above the same case in other cities too? Any idea what spark plugs are being fitted on the new bikes these days?
I think NGK is not in supply.

As per the NGK catalogue SouthAfrica version, Champion P-RZ9HC is the equivalent plug to NGK CR7HSA. I couldn't find NGK CPR7HSA in the catalogue. Catalogue is available on NGK SA site.Originally posted by pavan_cin View PostI have replaced my spark plug in lasts service in Saboo Suzuki SVC@Hyd. Bad tyres !
Hello Experts...
Had very bad experience with gs150 tyres
they are really pathetic and not at all stable on roads with sand thrown over and even on wet roads... we don't get control
.. Can anyone suggest better tyres for my GS150 ? I was thinking to replace it with the P180's or P220's ...any suggestions greatly appreciated.
