I wish I could get a job like that. I'd buy a rmz250 and just hit the road (and unroad) for a destination unknown part deux.

For me, I respect and prefer a suzuki over the others more for thoughtful design and good practicality than any illusion of superior reliability. Way of life indeed. God knows Id suffer more without a clock in the console and a gear indicator than with the 40 kmpl i'm getting now.
May not be just one year, but two can be enough I guess as I am into some serious programming shit and expecting salary hikes more frequently than ever before......
Still I'll think about whether to buy gsx1000r before my end term goal or to buy that beast(1300r) directly only after I'll have that much in my savings, but thats my plan as for now, and its been there since I first saw Hayabusa in a Navneet Notebook's front cover when I was in class 7th or 8th......

If so you can buy the new GS without any doubt.

The Suzuki two wheelers delivered at least here by company are not fitted with tyres having that color code.
Maybe some batches of the bike had them. Although it shouldn't hold any practical value.

          May perhaps be correct.

Even i had those marking on both the tyres. Infact the marking remains in my bikes rear tyre even after using it for 4000+ kms . It doesnot disappear very easily

Yeah gagan.....when it does, dont forget your best friends here on this thread who so helpfully helped you buy a gs and give us all a ride on your gixxer.

There is another solution to your problem of identifying if its a TD bike or fresh from the lot: Register it yourself.

Go to the lot, choose your bike once you pay for it, drive it out immediately and register later. SO, no behind the scenes business. You choose your bike, they will fill the oil and give it to you, you drive it out. Finish.

As I said, it has never come to my notice. Anyway I shall enquire about it in detail. Are you sure that the tires are the usual MRF Zapper Y and FZ?

Can you please post if you can the current reading @ different RPMs with:
                  - only Position bulbs on.
                  - both position and head bulb on.

Senior members might have a rough/actual wiring diagram of GS150R.. I really hope so..
No.. There is no drop in AMP reading while switching pilot lamp or head lamp. But there is a small deviation in the needle while pressing the pass switch when the head light is on.

Zapper FS in the front and zapper y in the rear

But I am using 55 watts Osram NB for about 23 months, before and after converting the bike to full DC. The reflector is perfectly OK.

Because the HID consumes 35 watts after a few minutes of switching on. With the HID and 35 watts bulb, the consumption is lesser by about 20 watts than the 55 watts bulb.

The AC generated by the stator coil varies depending the engine RPM but the DC output from the RR remains almost the same if the winding is having enough turns.

The load in the circuit. The battery gets charged in the same rate it is discharged if the winding and connections are proper.

Yes. But changing the bike to full DC is not to save fuel but to use a brighter headlight. So, if you are interested in it, go on without bothering about the results. It will not affect the performance or longevity of your bike.

The first things I have done after buying the bike were removing the kick start lever and replacing the headlight bulb with 55 watts Osram NB.
Still, after the full DC conversion, I am not using the kick starter to start the bike even in the coldest mornings.
So you can remove it and use the electric starter to start the bike at any time, even after keeping the bike idle for 3 or 4 days.

I don’t know correctly but why are anxious about the electric starter? A number of bikes, especially the higher cc ones, are not provided with it. If the battery is perfect, you can use the electric starter itself.

Switch off headlight if you are switching off the engine and use the electric starter to start it again. Otherwise, you can keep the headlight on if the engine is running as the battery is getting recharged at that time.

But it was a year ago. And trying to clear doubts is not annoying. Annoying is entirely different.

If you have any more doubts about DC conversion, contact Magesh (gmagesh14) or me.
After converting to Full DC, the blue light in console is working when you switch to high beam? In my bike, its not working... Do you have any solution for it ?

It is common in every GS converted to full DC. Ask the mechanic in the in SC to rectify it.

                        • Guys is there a Tubeless Tyre upgrade available with GS150R?

and is it useful to go for Tubeless Tyres instead of the ones that come with stock?

Can I really do that??? I mean where exactly do we find the lot?(guys I am just riding enthusiast, not having any business details or even know how it works)
Also, will I be able to drive my bike in the city without having a number on the number plate?? and how long does it takes to get a number? also can I choose the number for my number plate?(I am very much obsessive about numbers, I have 10 to 15 sims ending with tripple digits and my old bike CT-100 was having 1988 on number plate, but that I was able to manage as it was in my own city)

Yes it didn't ,but I ignored it ..

Actually I thought I'd blown the bulb..

While testing with DC I'd blown the fuse.. It's my stupidity cos I read the amps and kept the DMM and after a while for reading voltage I directly connected the probes to the battery w/o changing it's terminal to VOLTAGE mode which lead to short circuit.. I thought this was the reason and so let it as it is..

I took my bike for 350kms ride on the second day of my purchase w/o number.. I pasted a For REGISTRATION printout.. I was stopped at one checkpost ,I showed them DC copy and insurance copy.. Then they let me go.. I might be lucky that day...

Dont forgot to put a garland at front... Either you've belief or not atleast it'll hide the front number plate...
