Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
Its nothing like that draining battery. Fz comes only with Self start, Wats in that case? Battery drain everyday? Other than cold starting or starting after few days, Self start can be used for every day use. Dont be over cautious broOriginally posted by Suddy View Post

Fz does develop problems with its self start. That's why I ruled it out in the first place while choosing my bikeOriginally posted by ArunRavi View PostIts nothing like that draining battery. Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
The afr screw can be accessed from the left side of the bike. You'll need to remove the left side panel and a long screwdriver to adjust the screw as it is difficult to reach. With a long screwdriver (can use an extender) it's fairly easy to adjust the screw.Last edited by Shashank K R; 11-21-2016, 03:38 PM.

How to remove the side panel in the first place? I don't think I have that big a screw driver(for the side panel). Where can I get one? Autoparts store? What's the technical name I need to use? And size too...?Originally posted by Shashank K R View PostThe afr screw can be accessed from the left side of the bike. I did it! Worked like a charm. Thanks!Originally posted by motobiker View PostYes give it a try.I have tried 4-5 days in morning to set that rpm in between 1000-1250 (kept 4 bars)and from 6th day bike is again at its business, starting in 1st kick itself.

Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
Electric start can be used anytime bro. Lots of bikes these days come without kick start. If battery is low, it's not the end of the world. Low/failing battery generally gives loads of warning before giving up. Unless u like the feel of using kick start or there's no other option, it's not needed to use kick start.Originally posted by Suddy View PostFz does develop problems with its self start. Agree with you completely, kick starters should be preferred in morning starts.Originally posted by John P Daniel View PostElectric start can be used anytime bro. [QUOTE=Rohan12;1263908]Please provide the information - Either here and there should be - clockwise and counterclockwise turns - clockwise will reduce the RPM and counterclockwise will raise the RPM.
Yes, I know that.My bike rpm is between 1000-1250(4 bar -slightly more than 1000rpm), I changed that 4-5 days consecutively as bike is not get started,so I refer the word "Here and there".

Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
Even in mornings, kick start is rarely needed for a well maintained bike. The reason most recommend kick start for morning is that the kicker bearings get jammed if left unused. Other than that there's no reason to use it on everyday basis.Originally posted by motobiker View PostAgree with you completely, kick starters should be preferred in morning starts.

Hey to open it you need the allen key that's supplied by honda.. just open the seat . You will see a tool kit in which you will find it. in the front side you will find two push type plastic screws which can be opened by pushing at the centre with any screw driver .. you need to then side the panel forward and the cover will b out .Originally posted by Suddy View PostBrother, help me. Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
I've used the P220F since its launch and never faced any problems with the self starter what so ever. I used to check the battery once a month and never cranked the self for more than 5 seconds. Thats the key to have a trouble free self I guess. Just my thoughts.

open the seat and check inside the tool bag, there is a L shaped wrench called a "Ellen Key" thats the wrench you want to use to open that screw you have mentioned about. But I will suggest that you dont open that screw, as the carb can be tuned without opening the side panel. just shine a torch or your mobile phone's flash and look carefully near the root of the carb some wires are clipped on behind those is the tuning screw. A long screwdriver is needed to adjust it, thats all!
