The clutch is very good for launches.

Press and hold the clutch! Lock the RPM at 6500. Slowly release the clutch from it's bite point and accelerate. Shift near to 8500-9000 RPM. You'll easily get 0-60 under 3.9 seconds.
@Valkyire I always beat you in 0-60 and drags :P
    Thanks mate!
I tried launching it today. When I let go of the clutch there was a sharp screeching noise, as you can hear in this video at around 0:45 mark https://youtu.be/Dc3p_RAGIUw?t=44

Also, hypothetically speaking. Let's say I want to upgrade my tyres a couple of years later. Can I upgrade to Pirelli by paying 6k the subsidised price or is it only a buying time option? If not, can I at least source them from spares for actual price or are they reserved for existing Pirelli owners? If not that either, do you think it is a good option to fit Pirelli Sport Demon in the front and Michelin Pilot Street Radial at the back? I would have gone for both Michelin but front one is 110/70, PSD front is 100/80 quite close to 90/90. I want Michelin at the back as it has much better wet grip and lasts longer than PSD rear, though PSD is slightly stickier in dry hence makes sense at the front as well.
    Please help me.
As I lay rubber down the street, I pray for traction I can keep
But if I spin and begin to slide, please dear God, protect my sweet ride
    -Amen

Ah that noise, i know! Chain needs proper lubrication and also the way you left the clutch was too instant, you'll have to release gradually but at a higher speed. You don't have to jump the clutch.
No. You cannot upgrade the tyre that way. You'll have to pay the full price. You can certainly get it from the tvs service outlet where you buy the spares from.
For the front,NS200-RS200 size is decent i.e. 100/80/17. But i think 90/90 should offer you a lighter handle and faster response. You can go with the pirellis as they provide really good grip.
You'll also need to check if you can fit a 100 section tyre, because on the 180 you couldn't.
      Regards

That is really a good news. I seriously hope it is a not a marketing gimmick to build up sales.

Hey Guys. I am writing this to share the horrendous experience that I had with Susheel TVS, Kukatpally, Hyderabad today morning. I had booked a matte black RTR 200 couple of weeks back. Today at around 10 AM I got a call from them saying that a few matte blacks have come in so I can go and pick one up. Hurriedly, I went to the bank and withdrew the required cash and went to the showroom. On reaching there, the sales guy showed me the 2 bikes and told me to make a pick. When I picked up one, another lady (an employee) came out and started saying that these have already been booked earlier. I tried explaining that I had got a call from them a few hours back. They were all sorry/apologetic of sorts. I explained them my situation stating that I am ready to make an immediate purchase and that I had left my office for a few hours because the stock came in after a long wait and what they are doing now is not not setting up a good customer experience. To this they started giving excuses saying that even if they sell off the bike to me, they won't be able to let me take it because they require their owner's signature. When I countered it by saying that, if that is the case then will they not deliver the vehicles to any of the other customers who were there to purchase other models!! They started cooking up policies like, any vehicle above 70k requires owner signature.

I finally told them to return me the 2k booking deposit that I had made since I am no longer going to purchase the bike from their showroom or any of their branch showrooms. Even, for this they require their owners signature !! They kept making promises that the bike will be made available to me on Saturday but when I insisted that I am not going to take it from them no matter what, they said to come on Saturday or some other day for the booking refund.

Probably I was more disgusted/angry than sad. The way they play with the sentiments of their customers is just beyond comprehension. Anyways, I have contacted another dealer for the bike and he is charging me 1k less but he doesn't have the matte black variant as of now. But, no matter how long I need to wait, I am not going to return to Susheel TVS (except to get my refund).

Edit: I hope the rumoured Pulsars don't hijack me by then..

New load or old load does not matter at all. But, before taking the delivery do a proper PDI (pre delivery inspection) and then take the bike.

Check the following link for the same : http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/motorcyc...on-thread.html

I bought my RTR on 13-July... And have to tell you the break in period is very painful, really have to control your nerves to control from pulling that throttle, handling is a charm on this bike.... Money well Spent...
