BTW... How are the brakes? You earlier mentioned that the brakes are not so good.
It’s not a big deal to reach 120 in rtr. Brakes lags on very hard braking conditions. In normal riding it’s sufficient and progressive. For your said style go for 160. It’s much more refined on your mentioned speeds.

Took a short ride of my friend's 160 4v with him as the pillion. Braking was satisfactory and handling was good. Could maintain 80s without much difficulty. I tried a speed run. Started from 0 and shifted at 7k rpm. After 90 kmph, the acceleration was too low. It gained 1 kmph for every 2 or 3 seconds after 90. Overall it seemed good but it would be nice if there were some more good color options. Also TVS could have given it Draken style rims and white console backlight (FI version gets it).

Well... The 160 4v does seem a good package except for some small bits mentioned earlier. For something that I'll be having for some years, I feel that paying a few more bucks also seems okay. It's definitely a tough call.

Do you remember the RPM (5th gear) in which 80 came? Was the 5th as tall as in 200 4V ? TIA.

Not sure of 80 but I got around 50 at 5000 rpm in 4th gear and around 60 at 5000 rpm in 5th gear.

How is the exhaust note of the 160 4V compared to the 200 4V??

Ohhh.... Man.... An Apache 200 4V overtook me in slow traffic.... About 20-30 kmph.... The exhaust note.... It was.... Impressive.... The low pitched basssy grunt.... The exhaust note is enough to convince you buy one....

So... How is the exhaust note of the 160 4V? Is it something comparable to the 200 4V?

              Not as bassy as 200.

Has anyone got the matte black RE 2.0 till now?. I haven't seen even one anywhere, be it youtube, this blog or reviews.... I find the glossy to be a bit too flashy for my tastes.. Matte should tone it down a bit.

I think matte grey with green is only available in race edition
. Other all race edition colours are in glossy finish

I have a doubt. Is the rear break having screeching sound in your bikes? Mine does a lot of noise. It's just 2 months old.

Pressure wash the brakes, it's sounding like that due to dust accumulation.

Take a pipe with moderate to high water pressure and hold it under the brake calipers if the pressure is not high enough then press the mouth of the pipe.

Had it done at washing center. Still no use. Now what to do?

I replaced with new set of pads. But having that noise from the second day. Now I learned to ignore that noise.[emoji12]
