I came across a video on youtube regarding this.
That guy asked whether we will be getting a switchable abs or not.
And mentioned that it is in the works.
      This is the link

Please note I have no concrete info about this!

I hope for the best as the dominar was launched in hurry. Like Without the manual.
So may be as the time passes they will give ecu updates and all.

      Thank you!

Good to know you're enjoying your new ride. I felt Dominar's had one of the best weight balance/handling characteristics with pillion in motorcycles I've ridden. I'm close to 93kgs and 6ft tall and when i took the test-rides there was a equally heavy advisor accompanying me as pillion. The initial pull/acceleration with both of us was so effortless, it never left sluggish. And even after the 4-5kms test ride, I never felt like i had a pillion with me. In this department Bajaj has nailed the comfort quotient.

Did you face any fatigue or any pressure points in your back after the long ride?

        Cheers!

Fatigue , yes i had lil tiredness and pain around lower part of my neck due to very heavy wind my neck was shaking above 85kmph, and little discomfort in my right knee as i have a issue with this knee in past.
Nothing is the lower back or anywhere around back.
But after resting for half an hour everything is fine.
          No major concern or discomfort.

Sure, It's happening after ECU update and only in 5,6 gears and when you are in below 4.5rpm.
Say you slow down to approach a wide corner and reduced speed from 70-60 by de throttling and gear is not downshifted, once the corner is passed you accelerate in a rapid manner then engine takes noticeable time to respond to throttle. if you keep rpm above 4.5 every thing is fine. This is same with straight line acceleration. If you need more details please ask.
From SA the ECU remapping is done to remove 8.5 rpm limit and also to address lugging issue in slow speed.

This is purely for the benefit of future Dominar owners -

Yesterday evening on my ride back to Gurgaon from Bikaner near Manesar there was a D400 which flew past me. Looking at the console of my NS I realised I was doing 103 myself. At the Manesar toll happened to see the D400 parked at a tea stall. I walked up to the guy riding it and it turned out he was in Bajaj uniform. I asked him if this was a TD vehicle to which he refused, he said and I quote, "TD bike ki toh customer vaat lagaa daalte hain, yeh TD waali nahin hai... humein bhi thode mazey bante bike ke" (The customers ruin the TD bike, this is not a TD bike, we also need some enjoyment)

I asked him how much has this bike run, wont the customer get to know to which his reply just shook my faith - the cable is detached and I will attach it once I reach the showroom, following which he sat on the D400, fired it up like theres no tomorrow, did a small burn out and shot off. I was left dumbfounded at the nonchalant handling of a machine which some enthusiast would be buying with his hard earned money.

I've heard similar cases of a Honda service center in Coimbatore, and I experienced one at the showroom when I went for TD of CBR250R.
And a similar incident happened to my brother about 8 yrs back, when he got his pulsar 150. When he went to choose his bike, there was a mechanic rotating the tyres in reverse manner. (this is done to reduce the km count on the odo), so my bro asked to why this was being done. They said, they had to test the vehicle if it's fine and they had ride several kms at high speeeds, etc to see if the bike is still good. And then, they do this to bring it back to lower km count on the odo, so that the customers dont question them. But anyway they ensured, the bikes they're showing my bro are brand new. He didn't like or trust that, and later purchased somewhere else.
So basically, the people at the dealership, break in the bike and then, we are here trying to follow the run-in.[emoji23] [emoji23]

I had a similar experience, went to honda showroom here in Cherthala,Kerala to enquire about Activa125 and asked for a test ride they said that TD vehicle was taken by some one for TD, after 5 min of waiting the vehicle arrived, actually that was a customer's given for first service.

Has anybody else noticed tank overflowing through the fuel cap after pouring a full tank of petrol?
I went to the service center with this query and the service manager told me that you should not fill more than 10 litres of fuel in the tank.
In the manual, it says clearly, for calculating economy, you need to fill fuel to the brim of the inner hole. And this is exactly what i did.
While delivery, the same Service Manager, pointed out to the mechanism provided, if there is excess fuel, there is a hole where the petrol will seep back in the tank and not overflow.
I am confused and concerned now. I have written Bajaj customer care seeking an explanation.

                                Anybody else facing similar issues?

PS: This is not true for all owners. This issue is noticed by very few owners. Not sure, if this is a defect in the first batch.
Nothing is comparable to the simple pleasures of a bike ride.
