Guys, I'd like to remove the front number plate of my Dominar and apply number sticker on front mudguard. Is it legal or I'll fined?

You sure? I've seen few bikes around with stickers instead of plate.

Not yet. I will tell the SVC guys to look into the matter once I go there for first servicing. But, since the issue is present in other Dominars too (Pulling to the right), I can assume the SVC guys will be at a loss.

I hope they're not and already have a solution for this. I'm already super annoyed.

                Hello Xbhpians,
I have just joined the xbhp family and this is my first post.
My 2019 vine Black dominar was delivered to me yesterday and I've clocked about 60 kms on it. Absolutely loving the bike, but there are a few things I want to point out.
                1. As mentioned by other owners, the bike does sway towards the right when I let go of the handle. Have to check this during first service.
                2. The rear brake is not that great, maybe I'll have to wait for the brake pads and tyres to run in, not that big of an issue considering that the front brakes do get the job done.
                3. I haven't been given the user manual from the dealer. He said they haven't received it either and will take a week. Unable to figure out how to set the time, would appreciate it if someone here can help me with that. Has anyone received the manual?
Apart from these niggles,it's a phenomenal machine.
I'm from Bangalore(Koramangala), and have faced terrible service experience from Bajaj in the past. Could someone suggest a good Service centre in Bangalore?
I'll post a detailed review on the pros of the bike after I complete a few hundred kilometres on the saddle.

                  Hi guys,
I am facing some serious power delivery issues with my Dominar (2018 model). It was smooth and well till 8.5 kms. After that it started showing this issue. It takes some seconds to deliver the power after giving acceleration on lower gears. And on higher gears whenever i takes my hand off the accelerator bike starts to slow down abruptly, like the engine braking has increased abruptly. Had my ECU flashed and still the issue persists.
Has anyone faced with similar issue or anyone has any idea about this?

Though I'm no expert, I'd suggest you to check the condition of Spark Plugs and Air Filter first.

I got delivery of my 2019 Dominar 400 on 6th May 2019 @ Pune. Purchased it from Sai Service Bajaj, Shivajinagar. OTR is 2.17L. Overall sales experience was good and received the bike in approx 15 days. Green has high demand hence the delay. Black is readily available.

Did some short daily rides and one Sunday ride to complete 500kms. Got the 1st servicing done yesterday @ 700kms. Total cost was Rs. 1442/- for changing oil, oil filter and other consumables. Servicing experience was decent. I had complained about some rattling noise at 3-4k rpm which they haven't addressed. Will be visiting again to get it fixed. Coming from TVS' service experience at Century TVS, this felt a bit below expectation. Also got the high security number plate installed from the dealer.

Bike is performing well and I hit 104kmph once. Currently staying below 5.5k rpm due to run-in period which is too long (upto 2k kms ). Vibration are drastically less than 2018 version and it's a hoot to ride in ghats and on highways. Coming from Apache, handle feels placed quite up and position being more upright than Apache. Seat is comfy and didn't had butt ache even after 300kms on saddle.

Since I'm little bit on the shorter side and bike being pretty heavy, I did some seat mods to reduce the seat height a little bit. Stock amount of foam on the seat is quite less so you can't cut much. Now I can flat foot on one side. Also got the monoshock adjusted to be on softer side.

                      Will keep posting more observations.

                      Chao.

Service was done recently, so i think air filter will be in good condition. I will sure check about the spark plugs though.
                        Thanks.

The Air Filter of Dominar is hard to access, one needs to remove a lot of things. That's why a.s.c guys sometimes skip cleaning as it takes time and effort. If you saw them cleaning then fine or else I'd suggest you get it cleaned in your presence.

You mentioned that your bike sway towards right, get the cone set of your bike checked. As many 2019 owners are facing this issue, chances are that Bajaj may recall the first batch to fix it.

As far as vibration are concerned, give it some time, it will reduce on it own. Or else you can install vibration kit which is free for Dominar owners.

That kit is only for old Dominars which did not have the dampers.
I guess new Dominar comes with factory installed damper kit
