This may be a little weird but since the size of the Mojo disc and that of our dominar is same.
    Can we swap?
Even if done will the brking be good?
And also the petal disc looks good!

I have some knowledge that gives me an idea that the petal disc gives more feedback.

We will have to confirm if the mounts are same, on top of that abs vehicle have a ring on top of disk, that will a challenge.

        Hi,

Just a stupid question, when this bike has Fuel Injection and ECU, why is there a accelerator cable instead of wires (Throttle by wire)? Am I missing something that a throttle by wire cannot be installed on a ECU run bikes?

        Regards,
        Bency

Hello, wonderful question but throttle by wire is just opposite of what the name suggests and is a rather complicated stuff. Only rc has it for now in under 5L range.

You are correct. As per government order, handling charges should not be charged.

I think at the end there is a sensor (Throttle position sensor). I think there is something similar for Dominar also. (Correct me if I am wrong). These sensor will translate the position into voltage which inturn will be given to ECU which inturn will open up the Fuel Injection.

So, how is this different from Duke?

So, how is this different from Duke?
Let me explain how it works. In the Dukes released insofar, a throttle cable is being used for throttle purposes which operates the butterfly valve. Now, practically, a cable operated throttle has a slight lag in throttle response time that is according to engineers though in practical, daily use, one could hardly find any difference. Secondly, the DBW or Drive By Wire completely eliminates throttle cable snapping, or tangling which are caused by cables.

Now, Drive by Wire uses sensors which operate a motor on the throttle body, which adjusts the butterfly valve position. In precise terms, sensors are more sensitive to even minute throttle inputs and provide precise throttle feedback. There shouldn't be any lag or any stutter per se w.r.t throttle inputs. Cable or DBW in the end both offer the same feedback for the most part. Cables are cheaper to replace in case of a fall or in case of a switch gear replacement. DBW sytems should be comparatively costly.

DBWsystems are very durable and almost last a lifetime of the vehicle. But, if in case you have DBW sensor issues, there are very high chances of you getting stranded in the middle of nowhere as there is very little to mend, whereas if a cable is snapped, which can be easily replaced. Both have some pros and cons, but nothing significant. Cable or DBW both are very much reliable, indeed.

                Cheers!

petal disk does not give more feedback it has better heat resistance helps in keeping the breaks cool. but here in case of dominar it is not worth as d400 already has abs and compared to mojo the bite is better in d400 , have tested both.

I think so. They connected the bike with a sort of hand held device.

I got your point. Where is the current Dominar throttle connected? Isn't it to a sensor?

The Dominar uses a cable operated throttle body, and it's connected to the throttle body which in houses the TPS, throttle position sensor.

                          Cheers!

I think this is how Dominar is connected. If that is the case, why can't that sensor be at the throttle itself?
