RS400 will be comming, not a full faired version of this.

It will have more power and engine tuned like RS200.

And may be a semi-faired version of Dominar400 to make it more touring friendly.

You can either do that, or pay your final amount with a reduction of 9000. The second one being better, because otherwise you've to wait for the dealership to send you the cheque or credit you the amount.
TCR is compulsory, if you are not registering in the place where you are buying the bike. If you go to Orissa, I dont think it's easy to register your bike without it. Having a TCR makes the process easier.

I am not sure too bro. But I would really want to see and ride one. When I asked the dealership at CBE reg any news of SS400, they weren't really sure of an SS400 but, a faired version of Dominar, to be called Dominar 400F, might be released by the end of 2018. IMO, I would like an SS400 rather than D400F!
Also, Dominar 400 will be getting colour updates by Dec 2017, black and red is what I was told

I agree with you about TCR but the thing is that they are saying they need 7 days to make a TCR.. as per i know it takes an hour.. and about the payment they are saying that i will get the cheque from BIL within some days of my bike getting delivered.. they cant adjust with the price i pay them..

That is such BS. I bought my Duke 200 a month back. I paid 10k in advance for an immediate delivery. They adjusted the price with the downpayment.

Shitij Oberoi nicely said i to follow somewhat similar running in process took it to 110kmph of last highway ride but mostly leeping it to 4.5 to 5k rpm. And keep varying the speeds. Never held high speed for longer duration.

leech yes faired version of 400cc is coming can be RS400 or the Dominar f.

Dominar F and rs400 would be different bikes.

Hi all,

I want to purchase Dominar from Pune. Can you help me with the best dealer here?
Also, the buyers, can you tell me how the touring is on Dominar? The reviews say it is a tourer ofcourse, but unless someone rides it for longer time, the real perspective doesn't come out. My plans are to ride with my wife most of the time and need a bike mostly for touring purpose, hence want to know the comfort level and touring capabilities.

Thanks,
Vivek.

Yes , they have taken off the online booking procedure so advance booking amount to be paid in cash/card.But this amount may be adjusted in the final payment that you will be doing and yes this is what was being done during online booking days.I am not sure about the latest development.Regarding TCR I have also enquired at Chennai even they say it will take 7 days. Its better to take delivery of your bike only after TCR is issued .Since you are planning to ride from WB to Odisha,It's always safe to have some documentary evidence supporting your ownership of the bike.

I paid the money on 9 Jan and took delivery on 22 Jan.After paying the money you have to literally be after them as they ignore you. They charged me 5700 for insurance but the premium amount was 4229.Check and question every amount before you pay.I have been riding for over thirty years and this is the worst dealer .

its shocking such a long time for registration? they were saying if its mh02 then it might take time 8-12 working days but other person in a show room was like 6-8 working days. yes insurance what you might have paid for is premium one with zero depreciation i think because they offered me and yes its a contract of 3 years with zero depreciation and we have to renew every year. i will make a follow up to them about the status.
