Fuel consumption is excellent so far.In fact scooters give this type of fuel consumption and here you have a 400 cc and the power.Originally posted by xerlein89 View PostWhat is the average fuel consumption for this bike ? myself getting 29 to 32 in city , and 37-39 in highway ? is this normal ? can i expect more ?

even i was at kind of a scary situation but did some 100 for few minutes on the other highway road everything seems fine and stable.Originally posted by benz View PostI am really surprised to hear that D400 (An 182kg beast) is gliding and floating at speed of 80kmph. I have touched 600km on ODO today and I did few 100kmph speed on highways, never felt that bike was "Gliding or floating" I always felt that bike is very stable even at that speed. Wanted to try more speed but kept it under 80 always due to run-in period.

No, it's against the rule of Clubs and Conventions Act, 1973. Before joining a motorcycle club, you should renounce all other motorcycle clubs you were a part of, otherwise you will be open to a host of legal problems.Originally posted by srivijay82 View PostThanks. Hi every one. I am planning to buy Dominar 400. I am 5 ft 6 inch. So I want to know how is your experience with cornering with Dominar. I own Honda hornet. Cornering is very good and balanced with Hornet. How it will be with Dominar? Thanks in Advance

120 on front of rs[emoji33]Originally posted by IamAditya View PostNot mine bro. Got from a whatsapp group.
This tyre must be Michelin pilot road 2, if yes then it would cost above 14,000 I think.
My friend uses a 120 section Michelin pilot road 2 on his RS200 front rim, it costs him around 9,000.

Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
Hi Guys,
Finally took delivery of my White beast yesterday.. Clocked 100 kms (couldn't resist
).. I wanna share a few complaints about the bike and need your opinions on it..
1. Bike slowly pulls towards left after 50 if you take your hands off the handlebar. Tyre pressure are perfect, filled it to 28F and 32R as suggested by Showroom guys..
2. Feels slightly sluggish around 2k rpm, struggles to pull from 50 in 6th gear, or any gear for that matter.. I have to shift down and keep the revs above 2.5k-3k to keep the engine smooth.
Apart from the above complaints, the bike is absolutely fantastic..
Any suggestions is welcome..
Thanks in advance..
I know this is OT, but can anyone suggest a good white helmet in the price range of 4k-5k??

My roommate owns a Hornet and I have ridden it a lot, so I think I can answer your question.. The hornet feels heavy at the front unlike Dominar which is well balanced even for such a heavy bike.. The big tires are confidence inspiring, and the usual corners I take on the way to my office, I can turn in Dominar at higher speed when compared to Hornet..
Hope this helps..

Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
Thank you very much. Actually I have not felt it in hornet while cornering. Happy to hear that dominar performs better in corners. Most of my riding is in hilly areas some S curves and U curves. Dominar is 40 kg heavier than hornet. This is my major concern.

1. Check if the handle bar is perpendicular to the front wheel. I don't see any thing else that causes swaying in a new bike.Originally posted by AkshayMithyantha View PostHi Guys,

2. FYI this is not a commuter like splendor or tvs sport to ride below 3k rpm. It cleanly pulls from around 57kmph @ 3500rpm without any knocking which is already great. You should try riding a duke 390.Ride Safe!
Cheers,
