Guys, anyone noticed that the prices are no longer visible on the Domi website. They are not showing the Matt Black color too. Anyone here can help me with the prices, in Pune?

Taking off three screws and removing the tail piece is 2 mins work. I'm sure you could do so and check for yourself , If you don't like it replace the tail piece. It's very very easy.Originally posted by shaik4023 View PostBro can u post some more pics from the side view of the bike

Hello friends i have decide to buy dominar on 24 august and i am talking to two dealerships .one is giving me the bike at 3000 lesser than the other but one thing was peculiar when they came to my house for test ride they had disconnected the meter wire i dont know why . I am tempted moneywise to buy from them but i am suspicious about their practices . What do you suggest

I think you would be safe with both dealership. Dealership usually disconnect the odo as there bikes are unregistered and they intend to sell the same piece.Originally posted by Cruisemonk View PostHello friends i have decide to buy dominar on 24 august and i am talking to two dealerships .one is giving me the bike at 3000 lesser than the other but one thing was peculiar when they came to my house for test ride they had disconnected the meter wire i dont know why . To be on safer side pick a different color and give a complete chk to tyres and hand grips that should give u and idea wether the bike is fresh or not.

Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
Ask both the dealership whether you can choose your bike before finalising on one.
There are ways where you can still detect if the bike has been driven with odo disconnected.
Go to their safe house and:
Check for tyres, a fresh tyre and a tyre driven for 2-3 kms will definitely look different if checked under adequate sun light.
Check for foot pegs. A driven bike will have some form of dirt/patch of shoe sole accumulated over it.
Once you are satisfied, note its VIN number and ask them to block the vehicle for you. Have your finance ready and pay immediately and leave.

Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
Mine is first lot bike and there is no issue with it. The glorified vibrations issue is common with all big capacity single cylinder bikes. The missing issue which few were facing is resolved with new ecu update. And as per my knowledge new new dominar is coming in December they might add some colours.Originally posted by srikanth.murlidhar View PostHi,
I am planning to buy Dominor in month or two. Does anybody know if new model is coming in December?? if not has Bajaj rectified earlier issues in new batches.

Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
Hello everyone! I'm planning to book a D400 soon and the new matte black colour option has caught my fancy.
But I have a query about the new colour available: wouldn't this paint be hard to protect against nicks/minor scratches?
I'm aware that the RE TB has the same paint option and no protective is recommended on the same.
Just thought I'd pop this question on the forum to know if there are any work arounds to the upkeep of the paint surface, especially around the tank top.
Thanks in advance!- When Life throws you a curve, Lean into it! -

Ohh, Matt Black is difficult to maintain. You have to be very careful while cleaning. Scratches or cracks will expose the metal/Fibre and that might not look same.Originally posted by rideon74 View PostHello everyone! 3M cover should give some protection but then that might not give the Matt finish look after covering.
