    That being said
Why do you want a battery voltage meter, all this will clutter your dash. Until you are not in a mood to put a hell lot of lighting equipment , battery meter won't be necessary.

For drl cutoff, its in built in the wiring , so to cut it off , you need to alter wires, that if caught , will void the warrenty of your brand new bike. God forbid , but incase thier is a factory fault or if you had some accident and then they caught the alterations, could result in problems.

Coming to engine fan, as you mentioned it doesn't heat up as much as duke, radiator and fan takes too much science, putting an extra fan up their might cause more harm then profit.

Take care of the gps, they are known to suck the hell out of battery, never a good idea!
But i wish you all the best and do post every update here 😁🖒😀

    Thanks for your suggestion.

I have a car which is totally modified electrically and still there was no warranty void. I haven't touched the ECU and the main wiring. I have not cut any wiring except for headlight. others are all tapped from the connectors. Lets see what Bajaj will say.

Battery meter is needed when the battery is about to die. I have replaced roughly 5 batteries on my pulsar and at the end came to know that it was not charging after putting the battery meter. All said battery problem and the alternator also was showing up voltage. but when I kept the battery meter I found that battery was slowly getting discharge and charging was very low. I don't say its a must, just to add few more things on my mod thats it.

Regarding radiator fan, I may wait and observe the engine temp and decide it. This is not on my priority.

It should be under 5k and sometimes you can take it a bit higher with varying rpms.

Anyone here who purchased Dominar from Hyderabad? If so, please give me the breakup of the amount you paid.

Just got a call from Deccan Bajaj to pay the full amount.

They let me leave after I paid a fine of 400rs. with charges of using aftermarket LED headlights. This is so dumb. What's happening guys ? This is pathetic. What do you guys feel and what is the solution for this?"

Apparently, he's from Bangalore. I pm him asking him to carry the user manual along, and try showing the cop about the AHO and that it's a rule to make it mandatory in all the motorcycles. He said, he tried explaining but the cops didn't understand or didn't wanna understand :P
Well, if he really wants to address this issue, he should take it up with the cops directly (they probably might have a fb page too) or at a police station/court or maybe even email the police officials.
Either one should be good at 'explaining' it to them or have the guts/patience to take it up at the appropriate forum.
Simply ranting online is not going to help anyone
You could carry your owners manual and if it does have any info on the aho, then show that to cops and also point out the missing headlight switch.. and finally become a salesman and give them a demo by starting the bike and showing how it works.
Not just Dominar's , even the ktm's and hero glamour iirc and several other bikes come with aho.. so folks should be prepared until it becomes more common

So the cost in Mumbai is 1.84L, whereas the same in for a Thane registration, is 1.76L, i reside at Mira-Road and that's what the D400 is coming for me on-road. The bifurcation i shall only be able to give you once i get the delivery which will take some time, as i booked it on the 1st of Feb.

Shall post an update once that happens, also i am visiting Suryoday Bajaj today evening to clear some of the queries that were raised here in respect to the PDI process, the ECU update, etc.

Its not about the "AHO", but probably about the blindingly bright "LED" light, which in a lot of cases is on high beam.
I've been riding with my low beam on in daytime with all my bikes since ages now, never have any cop stopped and fined me for that. [Point: It's always been std. yellow halogen bulbs]

I've argued with someone a couple of pages back on this and I still stand on the same ground that any biker with high beam on in city's limits should be fined as per the law. [I believe in Chandigarh it's done already]

If you're in Pune, good chances are you'll find a lot of "Royal" Enfield Classic "riders" with huge LED lamps installed. That crap is so annoying, you'd want to curse their ancestors instinctively. I'm not starting an argument or my hate for LEDs, I'm stating a good possibility why its going to happen with Dominar owners more often than they think. Do I have a solution? no.

                        Regards.

Why it's doesn't happen with Audi owner, I was reading the post it's say in some FB post it was mention but I didn't find it, we don't know the truth. So by saying that LED headlight will make cops to catch is not true, he might have been caught for something else.

If a person is riding/driving with high beam whether it's splendor or an audi they should be fined.

Its probably the high beam thing which is possible cause of this whole drama. Those ultra white LEDs are just causing more insult to the injury.

On the other hand, try plonking high illumination LED bulbs in your car and then drive on a Saturday night. 50 percent chances are you'll be stopped for that. Fine or not, can't say.

And if you're talking about Audi's DRLs, those are either led stripes or angel eyes rings. Not a blasting stream of white light. Huge difference mate.

                                Sorry for the OT, mods.

                                Regards.
