Wrong grade buddy may be this could be the problem switch to 10w50 and see if ther is any difference. And also check if the oil is getting mixed with coolant.

The coolant levels have not dropped since first service but the color is bright green. So visually, it seems oil might not be mixing with the coolant. Don't see smoke from exhaust.

I know abt the error. What I want to know is if the gps method for calculating speedo diff is legitimate or not.

You know what, my friends benelli tnt 300 after a tyre change to mrf revz on both the end shows a terrible speedo reading. Gps shows 100kmph when the speedo reads 115kmph. [emoji44] That's why I'm asking.

One more question, but not the last. [emoji12]
I had added 2 aux led units, 12w each. So for 24w lighting unit will a 15 amp fuse be enough? Please explain how to calculate if you know the math.

sman999 AFAIK gps data is always correct but for more information we need something Like a Vbox. Was the tyre size also changed on tnt300.
Can not comment on fuse thing as i haven't used any such lights.

Yes. The stock were pirelli angel 120/70 & 160/60.
                Now the revz c are 110/70 & 150/60

                  Isn't the rim size of tnt300 bigger than KTM's 3" & 4" rims?

If yes then 110/70 and 150/60 would spoil the dynamics completely.

The tyres will be flat, not rounded, will lower the cornering stability.

Being flat, low profile means, more pressure on the Rims when going into potholes.

Lower seat height and lower ground clearance(may be very small margin).

                  Acceleration should increase a little.

                  Speedo error for sure.

Correct me if I have mentioned anything wrong.

Its not as round as Pirelli but the cornering stability has increased IMO.

Yes, Lower seat height helps my friend actually

                    Acceleration should increase a little.
                    Not much diff.

                    Speedo error for sure.

At first Benelli had 2 variants one with MRF's and other with Pirelli's. Since 90% opted for the later they stopped offering the first variant which was 10k cheaper, at least thats what they said. IMO Revz are VFM product, they offer phenomenal grip for that price and for our roads those are enough. Only for track riding you need better tyres like metzeler, pirelli, Michelin(high end).

So lets say 2-3% tyre error due to circumference change and 5% speedo error, so in total 8% error. With 8% error, Speedo should read 100kmph @92kmph as per GPS. But 15% error is where the doubt arrives. Either Benelli's speedo error is high or the app i used is manipulating wrongly. I used an app called GPS speedometer and trip meter developed by some California team in Android.

                        Hello,

I seem to be a little late to answer the query, but it looks like its a loose battery terminal. I had once accidentally lost the battery terminal screw on my RS200 and it acted in similar way when I replaced it with a non OEM screw and it could also be that the engine kill switch has some dirt stuck, my engine kill switch had some dirt and when switched on would light up the display and every thing but after a hard press only I would be able to start the bike.

Finally if the bike is stalling in gear it could be side stand sensor is at fault.

This proves the speedo error. When the size of tyre is changed the speedo error percentage increase.

On Fuse -- 12W 12V LED will consume 1 Amp of Continuous Power. a 5Amp Fuse itself will suffice for both the units but 10Amp can be a safe bet.

Note:- This is just from a theoretical calculations based on Ohm's law

for a 24W light please use a 3 amp fuse (Max current for a 24W light is 2Amp, 24W/12v, for safer side 3Amp)
