This is strange. Happens daily for me.

Do it when your speed is less than 30. Just try to stop it immediately, press both brakes hard. You should feel the throbbing.

No go bro. I could not get it to skid. If abs kicked in, it was so light that i felt something but am not sure. I have ridden tvs 185 abs which had a pulsating front brake even in normal braking. This on had a rock solid front brake bite when new but after 1000 kms it bits good @ half press. Still rock solid though. Will try again tomorrow.

OK. So everyone has vibes after 4k. Even I do. Does anyone feel a hard shift, always on the first gear?
You have heard of me, But you don't know me. You know what I'am, not what I've gone through

Yes, huge khat noise. But I think it will reduce after first servicing coz today when I went to my dealer to collect Manual and all, I did a short test ride on their bike which has done more than 1.5K km and it had very much less vibrations post 4k rpm and noise while putting on first gear was little bit lesser than how my bike makes.

The vibes will reduce. Do mention that to the service mechanic. The hard knock on the first gear has become softer, it still knocks but earlier it sounded like a hammer rather than a gear. Change oil and ride hard. Then repeat.

Hello everyone, I got my dominar yesturday. My story of it is rather long and I don't wanna bore everyone to death so will skip it.
                  Points I noticed,

Earlier bike- apache 180, rebored it for 200, benelli tn25.
It has some vibrations but I am fine with it as I have ridden apache, benelli is really very smooth engine, smoother then and single pot I have ridden.
It has some rattling parts sound , I knew it would be there with bajaj and tvs, forgot it while drove the benelli 😁 . The power is great, headlamp works good, got my delievery at 6.5kms on odo and that's all I guess.

Just changed oil to Motul 7100 20W-50 and vibrations have considerably reduced. Oil cost Rs. 980 for 1.2 litre. Reputation well deserved!

They let you change it at the service station? Without any issues?

I guess there is 10w50 in Motul 7100. Then why did you opt for 20w50?

Normally bajaj oils are pathetic, but for Dominar they had sourced it from Total. Its rebranded for Bajaj as "Bajaj 10000".
                          Ride Safe!

                          Cheers,

No dude, friendly neighborhood mechanic. I went for a short ride to heat up the engine oil for better flow. Drained it and poured in replacement. No filter change today. Will talk to service Centre during second service. Mind you, Bajaj is closely monitoring dominar brand and service details so center might not agree.

Yes i read that but I bought into the whole synthetic ester oil technology marketing gimmick. I am ready to try anything to reduce the 4000 to 5500 rpm vibes for gear 3 and 4. The bike does not sound as stressed now and is smoother in the band. I can feel the difference. Vfm if you ask me.

When i asked service center people to use MOTUL engine oil at the first service. They said... "Sir its your wish which one to use.. but Bajaj has recommended to user their engine oil which is made by TOTAL."
When i saw the bottle.. Oil was from TOTAL.
So i didnt opt Motul and went for Bajaj engine oil.
