Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
My thoughts exactly. I've been conscious of tyre pressure so I know for sure that hasn't impacted the FE.Originally posted by GandalfTheGrey View Post

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Ride your bike between 3.5k to 4.5k rpm, and my bike when I bought new and I filled 5 litres the bike goes 145 km (approx 27kmpl) on odo till the trip F is shown on console and the average was 34kmpl, and when I check with 1 litre fuel it goes 44km and in console it's shows 36kmplOriginally posted by ankit.traveller View PostSame day observations:
When I rode 120kmph+ continously for 1hr on expressway console showed 23kmpl.
After reseting meter when I rode 80-100 for half an hr console showed 37kmpl.
Before entering heavy traffic conditions of city again I reset meter and rode around 20km then console showed 28kmpl.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I am happy with combination of power and mielage of fz25. Measured many times manually by tankful method and trip f to trip f, given more than 38kmpl (more than console display).Originally posted by krishan..... During tours i consider minimum tank range to 420km (12 x 35 = 420) excluding 2.5 litres reserve (last bar blink)

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I agree. I get 41 consistently. Measured full tank to full tank. This is exclusively in city use with a mix of moving and bad traffic. Mostly between 50 to 75kmph. Very short bursts to 100. For the performance from a small engine can't ask for more.Originally posted by ankit.traveller View PostI am happy with combination of power and mielage of fz25. Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Done 3500 kms , average mileage of 3500kms is 41kmpl
Brakes:- gone to a local mechanic today to rub brake pads with sand paper(it worked charm for front brake)(sharp & progressive bite)
Rear brakes are just crazy now too much feedback(1.Dont do DIY with Rear Disc Brake its a mess when doing assembly)(cost Rs80)Last edited by niharx; 10-28-2017, 01:28 PM.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
As per the manual the last bar blinks when there is approx 2.1 litre of fuel. It's when the odo starts to display "F". Also I'm getting more than 40 kmpl consistently. Today bike 1st service is done at 1020 km. Have to see how that will affect mileage. But riding the bike below 5k rpm gives great mileage in excess of 45kmpl on highways.Originally posted by ankit.traveller View PostI am happy with combination of power and mielage of fz25. odometer wires is disconnected that's the reason for engine light on....or if you have any doubts then go back to the showroom..Originally posted by Prem211 View PostHello guys I just bought fz25 5 days ago, the odometer wires disconnected, while driving yesterday i almost crossed 80kmph on 5th gear and suddenly check engine light went on and now its still the nxt day what must have gone wrong, sorry for my English.
