  • Hmm... i guess i was wrong...

But my doubt is, why is this thing even there?
I know its present in all bikes but does it have some purpose?
And if it doesn't have any purpose, then why cant people design a proper fuel tank?

Ohh... but then why don't you just copy the emblem as it is instead of taking the pain of designing it yourself?

In the petrol bunk,we get petrol +dust ,debris filled in to our tank..To ensure that these don't get into the carburetor the lowest level of petrol is never used...I had even got dead flies in my petrol from the bunk, and any one who had the same bike for 3 or more years will definitely see reddish mud in tank and sometimes in the carburetor bowl also.

Pranav, you will see a thin mesh membrane along the long rod like plastic thing attached to fuel cock,if you fully remove the whole fuel cock assembly, its there for filtration purpose. To clean the tank remove the fuel cock, drain the remaining petrol, after that clean the inside with a clean soft cloth preferrebly the 'baniyaan' type cloth. You can tie this cloth to the end of screwdriver and put it inside tank for cleaning where hands are not reachable! ;-)

My last servicing was done at 2500kms,now the odo reads 3600kms.So its only 1100kms the last servicing was done.Should i go for carb cleaning?

It's kinda late to reply, but I got some views on it, so posting them. I think the clutch feels moved coz at the end of clutch, the clutch moves a bit freely, where it doesn't act at all. I think sometimes while riding the clutch just gets shifted. Had asked SVC too, He too confirmed same thing.

Also Guys, lately have been facing a total weird issue. The clutch in My bike seems to be malfunctioning. Some days back when I checked, the bike was on stand and in first gear, that time when I accelerated and pressed the clutch, the tire was still moving. Tried on-off the bike but still same. Then later on 2 days later, when I checked again, it worked perfectly well! Means the wheel stopped rotating. And when I'm riding, suppose I have to shift gear down, I press the clutch and the engine simply cuts off!! Once this happened while I was taking a turn and was damm scared!!
The issue has happened a few times only, but I feel a lot scared due to it.

                        • Hey Guy's

Lately, bike is having much lag (like slightly using the brakes for a while and letting go afterwards) exactly between 3-4k Rpm when throttle used gently and gradually (when opened swiftly, this ain't happening at all). I've had this trouble a long time ago. But some how it disappeared. Now back in full swing.
Will quality issues with fuel cause this? It might be a faulty TPS as already discussed in this thread. The tough part is that the SVC guys are reluctant to check or replace the TPS at all!

Another thing is, sometimes when the engine is turned off using the engine kill switch, the engine stops only after say, some 3 secs

                          Waiting for your inputs.

Yes, you can surely buy them. The logo at the handlebar can be acquired by buying the handlebar plate (yes, the one which covers the coneset) and then scraping the logo from it. Its just for 100 INR AFAIK. About the sticker, I am not sure if one can buy stickers as single, but they're available as set.
