The compression ratio will be very high if you do not use two gaskets. You piston may be forced for an abnormal operation due to the hig compression. Just assume a 190CC occupying the same space as the 180CC.
If you enlarge the Head ports appropriately as advised by Joel then there is no need for two gaskets.
You can use one single gasket as like the stock, or get the porting a bit more precise and even avoid a gasket, going traditional using Yamaha Bond adhesive to seal compression.

my main problem is not hiccups , the problem is tht on pressing the clutch the rpm gets stuck to 3 sometimes 4 and comes down to 1.4 really slowly. On my bike people have cleaned , tuned the carburettor N no of times but still no good. I had taken the bike to svc today. They did a CO test and the reading was 9.xx , even the tvs engineer from the office was here but could not do any good and after long time of applying their brains they said "CO bahut zyaada hai , Theek nai ho sakta"
, changing the choke cable also didnt help
. The mechanic disconnected the wire of the TPS which is connected to the main wire along tci. The problem got resolved
. I just wanted to knw tht will removing of this red wire create any problems on the long run...??
