1) TPS issue
2) Adulterated Petrol
3) Carb issue (Although its only 1300kms on odo, it is possible only if 2nd point is there)

Keeping Bike on Reserve "always", hurts Bike ?

as It takes petrol from bottom of tank (Impurities & all factors)

No it can't be like that. After all whether the knob is set in Main or Reserve the fuel pipe starts from bottom.
Have anybody wondered why SVC guys always turns the petrol knob to reserve when they take from us for servicing even though there is enough petrol in the tank??

How does the "reserve tank" work?

Tank on Empty: Don't use your reserve fuel, it protects your pump

Example in OT way :
If you get salary and you have your reserve (savings), if you use your salary every time and move to the savings every month, would it not effect your monthly budget?

Never heard it will hurt , but turning the knob is not a big issue

Nope Fuel line start from bottom

-1 to that .... it doesn't actually as far as i know, Reserve Straw start from bottom ....

Yes you are right bro. I have shared two links & in the first link there is diagram which gives you a clear idea how the architecture is. Also in the second link its about not running on reserve fuel for longer time. Maybe those two links will be helpful.

Second link is for FI bikes not for Carb versions, in FI bikes its necessary to maintain 3-4ltrs always if you burn this Fuel pump might need a replacement.

yeah instead of a knob in traditional petcocks to turn it on/off you will be using a key to turn it on/off when its fitted with a lock.

Check for Scratches & make sure its clean washed with water completely before taking delivery...

Thanks for the info, i am gonna take the bike to SVC and do two things.
Replace the Air Filter, and clean the carb. If the issue still persists, gonna check the TPS.

only switching on light if the engine is running

not using the light unnecessarily. since im getting enough lighting from this...its mostly on LOW mode.

anyone notice any change here??? :P
