I know I know, I can give you. . . Let me just give a short list, say you might spend up to 15-20k for the whole including fitting and all, sooooooo

The best option for you is that if you are planning to give away this bike, it will get you a decent amount, also what amount you wanted to invest for the Joel's kit, take that too and add some more and get yourself a better performer, simple , . . You'll get a stock bike that is better in terms of performance than your current RTR, what say . . ?

PS: Power hungry people will never be satisfied, so it's best if you upgrade to some other bike rather than investing and later suffering if something goes wrong as all say, no guarantee for any mods, your bike will not be the same again after the mod, so it's best that you go for something else or ride this for around one or two years and save up for something big, what say. . ?

Rakesh dude it seems like bajaj has appointed you for promotion of there NS in Xbhp...lol!!
Instead of giving solution to the needy you are putting options to hate his current bike and go for NS,and for your information RTR is no way lesser than NS dude. Please dont take it personally and comment whats the person need instead of promotion of your brand..

Even I would say NS is not a big upgrade for RTR180. I agree it does have better specs & technology on sheet but the character is different. Ask anyone who has changed to NS after owning an RTR. I agree NS does have better top end and one can cruise easily at 120kmph all day & also has lesser vibes but it lacks the feel you get when you whack open the throttle like in RTR! (I honestly don't have a better way to put it )

And there is a reason why only RTRs and R15s/CBR150Rs are available for rent during track days and no other bikes! (They are highly tolerant to engine abuse! Rev the nuts of the engine, put the nuts back and ride again )

Come on mann seriously I don't like both of these companies for some reason but also that I have been riding these two bikes for quite some time and believe me or not, I do argue with my friend who has an NS saying that RTR180 is better in it's way and seriously I love RTR180 a lot now after riding it, I often get my cousin's RTR for a day just to ride it. . . Now coming to your point, I have corrected my answers now, you can check it. . . Considering it again, for some who want more performance (more power) will never be satisfied so that's the reason I gave me a choice for 200NS. . . May be as said by [MENTION=47593]Adarsh_Bk[/MENTION] NS might not be the best upgrade, even NS too has it's set of pros and cons, but compared to old pulsars, it seems a decent upgrade IMO. . . Adarsh that's the reason I love the RTR for that, let me complete your sentence at the end , quick throttle response, stupendous braking and freaking awesome handling, indeed rides all day long when revved hard without any stress, that's what the RTR is all about . . .

Again, I just gave him the choice of buying an NS as he's looking more into power and if he wanted something similar to the RTR, would any day ask him to wait and get the rumored 250cc Apache. . .

The general consensus is I should be sticking to stock components, right? I have had a word with few of my non-bhpian friends as well, and they suggest the same. Meantime, I shot a message to Joel asking for his suggestions as well. Yet to get an answer...

Possibly I'd stick with the stock kit for now. It's not that I am a power-wannabe and was expecting to compete with new-age Dukes with that big-bore kit. Just wanted to give it a shot if it were worth it. Turns out though it has its own kind of hassles.

Also, I'd love to go for a bigger bike when I have that kinda moolah in my pocket. But that doesn't necessarily mean dumping the old one, does it? For me, it carries memories worth 45 thousand odd kilometers, 4 and a half years and then some. I don't think I have even for once thought of selling my bike in the past 4 years. So just trying to keep her in top-shape as ever. Because, come rain or shine, I will never sell it!!

Shivank dont keep expectation too high with BB, cause they will crash big time. Waste of Money and time.
The only thing I learned is that if you need a bigger heart bike buy a bigger bike, no point tinkering around the existing one. One can screw the current setup with all the available crap.

Also if possible can u upload a picture of how it looks in front in daytime.
I mean I just want to see the HID headlamp setup visual change...
Also I heard that HID range starts from 5000k & above...

The complete setup will cost you INR 1200 to 1400 excluding mechanic's charges..

The HID range is right from 1000K all the way to 12000K(or 15000K).. I'v seen HID from 3000K to 12000K.. This colour range is from Red to Amber to White toBlue to Violet.. You can just google it..

Thanks buddy. I know this Motocross shop...I did my LED fitting inside air scoop from the same shop. Actually there is one mechanic who stands outside the shop itself...Right?
So you use normal halogen bulbs for low beam while riding inside cities & HID for high beam. Am I right?? Any idea what the projector setup might cost?
Also do you remember the name of the HID company?
Are you using same stock batteries for the same? I just concerned about whether it will drain the battery during long night rides.
Also I have read somewhere about the heat issue while using HID. Did you feel anything like that?
Again I'm asking too many questions..
