@Traveller01 , It does not matter if the bolt is 70 or 2500 bucks.. TVS SVC fools cannot do anything straight..!! If you refer to my previous posts(quite a few pages back),you can visualise as to how these mech(s) had damaged my bike's engine head's threads by over tightening the bolts..Forget about the drain nut & the engine head bolts. These geniuses have totally disfigured the three bolts of the engine oil filter cap as well & now my bike has to be taken to a lathe shop to remove these bolts..
BTW Shell has a Free oil change scheme & they remove the drain bolt without struggling or without damaging the bolt, unlike TVS SVC..That too FREE..!!
Yup that's true mate, will let him know of this. . .
Traveller01 thanks for your help too mate. . .

BTW, cheers I do change my oil at the Shell station itself . . .

Cheers!!!

Checkd thrice paid almost 500 till now, no result guess they will come with Head replacement this time which is gonna cost me good 2500 bucks. !!!

Time to sell my bike soon...
Well I was stuck in the same situation but din't have an option of a new ride.. I'v ended up paying some 700 ,3 times but was of no effect.. But now I am very happy that I replaced the head.. Now my bike is super smooth, performance has improved & is returning constant 42+ kmpl even after city ripping & highway rides of 96-105 kmph..
My 2 cents would be that you do the same..Its better to spend 4 digits rather than shelling out 6 digits..!!

• Apache 150 issue

Hello friends . I am facing two different issues after servicing my bike from a new mech as my older mech has only one answer for all issues in bike.

1)I have changed the head gasket seal as there was leakage from engine head. now after changing it engine sound have changed .Mech have also adjusted the tappets. I have changed the engine oil to semi synthetic.
2)Average is reduced to 53 kmpl.

Alloy bent, get it checked. Never heard that painting can solve this thing.

I suggest you to check the wear & tear of your tyre once again. Because leakage of air through rim is not possible in my opinion..

VinayakVerma : A video would do. A150 giving 50 is a good figure imo. We 180users are happy with 35-40 bracket

I had the exact same problem of air leak from the side of rim.. everyone suggested to replace the rim as it is bent, but visually it looked fine. So I just got the tyre removed from the rim & there was massive dust/dirt on the inside near the beading area. Air leak was solved after cleaning it properly.

Same might be your case too. The tyre shop guy was very reluctant to do my bidding and was confident that it could not be solved, but he had a nice surprise later

You should get the time chain adjusted.. Once that is done, your FE should be back to normal & get the carb. cleaned & the Fuel-Air ratio tuned..
