Thanks neil,,even im also confused about the HID switching i will ask my mech regarding it. Well could you please put some light how & where to adjust the no.plate after removing the fender flap? My mech says that he will have to cut the fender a little ti adjust it. More suggestions are welcome coz im gonna do that in mid-december
    Cheers!!

Check out the rear fender of P200-NS & P135-LS.
I think that will be good & easy to fit.
Regarding HID if going for anything higher than 35W I suggest go for complete DC conversion.
      And also buy Amaron batteries.

Is it possible to fit P220's projector in our ride and use normal headlamp(i was thinking of osram nightracer) in p220's projector without any DC convertion and all other things..?? My friend has a headlamp cluster(the kind which people fix it usually on stunting bikes ) which has a P220's projector in it..He told I can use it with normal lamp if I don't want to go for HID and I don't have to convert my RTR into DC..
So my question is : Do I have to convert my ride into DC for installing P220's projector and will this projector have more light throw than our normal reflector??

Yes, if wishing for HID first change the RR unit to ape RR unit incorporation with coil rewinding, as far as i know, i will not suggest you to cut the rear fender, better go for an p135,200 no. plate holder as suggested by susheel sir ,it looks cool but it needed to be welded onto the chassis and doing the same in apache is a tough job as the stock assemble is a bit complicated, while in pulsar its quite easy (150,180,220), or a clamp of L shape might do it ,all you need is a expert mechanic in doing either of the process else you have the option of rear fender cutting.

i think it is possible ,DC conversion is not needed, one of my friend did that on his ride p150 UG3 and it is not DC i guess, seniors may clear out.

P220 runs a 55/60W halogen bulb in the projector... D.C conversion might be required. I'm not sure, as my bike is ABS..

BTW My friend had put a HID(35W) on his P180 which was AC without any changes.. Actually,He is not sure what was fitted other than the relay & ballast..His battery died after using the HID for some 6-8 months.. So, DC conversion is quite important..

Actually am prefering to stay away from HIDs...I just want to put normal 35W halogen bulb in p220's projector...I know HID's need DC conversion..but what about putting just a normal halogen in the projector...BTW does a projector really need a DC circuit..?? It just helps in focussing the light...rite?? Or does projectors consume separate power??

Had a great fall today. Crashed into a police baricade. The headlamp ,visor, mudguard have broken to pieces. I had a narrow escape with bruised all over. For the first tym, wasn't wearing my shoes and got a big cut on my foot. Bed ridden for 1 week.
what would be the costs? Can any body say ? I will repair, once i get well. BTW, my insurance lapsed 1 week back. :-(

If your are going for complete Headlamp setup, just the body panel will cost around 1k and for headlamp with reflectors it might turn out to be more than 2k...
Then visors might cost some 100+ each...if its front mudguard it comes a piece which cost around 800...
                    Anyway take rest...

Now I want one, I was in "thinking" process of making my bike naked and this looks awesome. I was about to get the battery changed, high probability that would go for this look.

                            P.S : What is DFG?

Hehe...Bro DFG is a local stunt team here in Cochin(KERALA)...you can just search for their website in fb...This headlamp is shown in their album "DFG STORE"...I think you can also check in local bike modification stores near you..might find one...First I was thinking of going for round lamp( very common these days) or the CD100ss waala rectangular lamp...but I felt this would be better...

Now Thats something you dont get to see everyday... but the headlamp is too small for my liking maybe better in flesh.
