Done 25k kms..Rear Shock Absorbers is making queak queak noise. What might be the issie? And the famous hiccup 3k-4k rpm is back.
Cone set is due for replacement and what other things should be looked after 25k kms?

Try to clean the rear shocks with pressure wash & a brush, I am saying this because one of my friends was facing this issue & cleaning it did solve the noise issue. 3k-4k hiccup generally means the TPS problem unless you have any problem with your carburetor.
For 25k km service, try to change the front fork oil with seals, if you haven't done that before it does makes a difference. What is the present condition of your chain sprocket?
Look out for periodic replacements like filters, spark plug, cables etc. I feel RTR is a very low maintenance seeking bike & easy on pocket.

Imagine the osm possibilities like you can with such a setup:
You can have your own google map inside you speedometer so that you don't need to carry yours or drain your phone batteries.
You can save your vehicle papers as pdf format inside the system memory.
You can save your songs and use bluetooth which will connect to your bluetooth headphone and hear songs while you can preserve the battery of your phone.
You can track your vehicle & disable the engine (with an encrypted password) under theft situation provided they don't remove the battery
Also there can be an app which will show your friends current map position, so that no one is left behind while going in long trips.
You can also save the vehicle performance details as well as user experience in a cloud which the TVS company can verify for their future improvements.

There are still more things that can be added....
TVS would have been the first company in the whole world who must have come with all these under one platform.

But then whats the point...As usual I feel they shelved the project because its already 2~3 years since I heard this project and so far if they havent come means its useless and the TVS think-tank have shelved it.
The integrated setup sounds alot like mission rs bike's console but even mission rs console requires additional setup which makes it costly, thus naturally such setup will come once they cud make it cheaper for production. Either way, even if they can implement some bit of it like trip analysis for their supposed apache 250 lineup, it wud be awesome

You guys, thinking of upgrading from your RTR, let me tell you my experience. The only perfect Upgrade of an RTR is a Ninja. Absolute NO NO to CBR. You are going to miss the awesum handling and the bass beat in CBR. Else, Duke 390 would be a worthy upgrade. But After riding the Ninja, I should say, it satisfies we, RTR lovers to the fullest.
I have my RTR along with the CBR, hence no issue for me....

Hey guys
Can I fit 120/80 - 17 instead of 110/80 - 17 on my RTR 160.
110/80 is not available, I searched for days but cant find it anywhere.

Waiting for your replies.

160's swing arm is less wider than 180's. So not recommended. I had read about someone who had fitted a 120/80(18) PSD on his 160 without any trouble though.

Yeah. I got to know that yours is new when I looked at the rim size(17"). I don't think there's any swingarm change between old and new ones. But it's good to hear that you're running without any issues. May be I'll plonk one in the future too
How's your experience with it in terms of acceleration? Any noticeable difference?

No issues with acceleration as of now, will be going on a ride tomorrow, will see how it performs and let you know.
BTW the bike handles like a charm now

sambit - it depends !!! I don't about rest, but I believe there is nothing like good bike or worst bike, it depends on Rider & his choice...

Surely ninja is a good bike, but CBR 250 or D390 both stand in there own league too. :-)

No mate, I was just sharing my CBR experience. I hate it in city riding. Its 2000 kms with CBR now, still not getting used to its city riding. If you are upgrading from a P220, you would love it though. So my advice, don't settle for anything less than D390...
