Great feedback, Actually budget may not be a problem in case if the bike perform well in my requirement. But the main thing is mileage is too less in R15. I was waiting for Yamaha R125, but it's not launching in India (may be it can give 45 mileage). I will use my bike mostly for going office, I want my bike perform well for 4-5 years. But thanks again.

What mileage RTR 160 will return in normal condition ?
Mileage is all about your riding style, if you ride roughly in high rpms you will get less mileage and with economy mode ride it will provide you good mileage of about 45-50 in highways and 40-45 in cities..
So dude check out your priorities first and than pick up the correct bike..

    • Should i go for Apache?

      Hello Apache owners

Thinking of getting a new bike and Apache 180 ABS is one of the choices and am a little inclined towards it.

But I need to ask all you guys a question
Is getting Apache in 2014 worth it? means since its a little old technology wise, should I go for a newer bike?

Anyway love riding the Apache (My friend has got a 160, its just awesome)

If you're confused then better try all the bikes which belongs to this category in market. You should not be regretting later coz its little old in the market. I got my rtr 180 on 30th oct13 and i was very firm on my decision of buying an rtr. So better think and buy.

Apache is still a very good bike, and I'm still all hearts out for it, though all the other competitors have moved ahead. If your heart is set out for the 180 Abs, buy it. But if you want something more up to date then better wait or try other bikes.

My only question to you - WHY?
                      Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

May be. I already tried to change it in my RTR 160 and take a look of my friend rtr it seems both are same size but there is some arrangements for rear disk assembly.

How much should the co level be in the exhaust gas for optimum air fuel ratio?

Yes. It is longer and wider.

Usually, independent mechanics would have developed a certain "7th sense" , which help them adjust the A/F ratio & even identify any problems in the bike but just listening to the engine..

If a TVS SVC mech. is adjusting the A/F ratio, he would do it according to the CO2 levels from the exhaust.. So, if you are getting it done in SVC, don't worry, they will do it correctly..
