Re: TVS Apache RTR 180
It must have been a ride to remember prateek. If you havnt planned then the excitement increases infinite times for sure. Experienced that.Originally posted by prateek2210 View PostTrips on bikes are always memorable, but this one was way more than that. Snow, snowstorm, numb body, trekking, pushing bikes, punctures, black ice, no planning, 16hours of riding in hills........and what not!!!!! But this trip will always be remembered for all the fun we all had.

Hehe thanks guys. By the way forgot to mention, all this with a lady pillion. RTR performed too good, rather NS got puncture, RTR only had issues while on highway w.r.t P220 and NS otherwise it was way ahead than them in snow and black ice.Fare thee well xBhp, All the best for being the biggest name in corporate world

Re: TVS Apache RTR 180
Hey guys i'm new to the tribe.. Last week i got MRF ZAPPER-C 120/80 17 for my beast n so far i'm happy wit it. But my concern is there is very little gap between the tyre and chain guard. But tyre has never touched the guard yet.. Would it touch the guard by any chance? I hav attatched the pics

Re: TVS Apache RTR 180
I'v clocked around 25k km on MRF Revs 120/80.. Not faced any issue other than spending more time and effort while replacing rear brake pads..Originally posted by sanjaynk15 View PostHey guys i'm new to the tribe.. Re: TVS Apache RTR 180
Would be useful for future, wanted to know if this brings any reduction in performance or mileage. Any issues related to these?Originally posted by vivekgautams View PostI'v clocked around 25k km on MRF Revs 120/80.. Re: TVS Apache RTR 180
A very negligible drop in acceleration (actually, many factors affect acceleration). The ride quality has improved due to a thicker tyre. The big difference between 110/80 and 120/80 is that the 120/80 does 2-3 kmph more than the 110/80 at any given engine rpm(say, 110/80 does 81-82kmph at 6k rpm in 5thgear & 120/80 does 84-85 kmph at 6k rpm in 5th gear). The mileage is a bit more, may be 1-2 kmpl more.Originally posted by srinath2494 View PostWould be useful for future, wanted to know if this brings any reduction in performance or mileage. Re: TVS Apache RTR 180
I don't know exactly as i am just a rookie.....but i prefer shell ax7 10w40....but tvs uses 10w30 grade oil so that can be it someone told me that recommended is 20w40 may be i can be wrong but the two oil that i mention earlier are best ss oil for apache 180 engine.
