Forgot to mention, Spark Plug was changed during the service.Originally posted by abhishekch View Posthave you changed any parts or it is stock one with 12000km
i think you have done some burnouts thats why the tyre is gone to early
i can see that in you pic how it is only on 12000
other wise these tyre last more than 25000
r1 tyre gose only on 10000
Before that, spark plug cover was replaced.Rear Tail lamp Assembly and Speedo console was replaced under warranty.Except these nothing has been replaced till date.
What pics, i couldnt see anything. Please repost it.Originally posted by sri.vaibhav View Post

Beautiful first pic, the bike looks lovely.
13K's in 10 months!!!
My bike is close to two years old now, and my odo shows 9400.
Bleeding was done pretty early, were the brakes too spongy??
And dont forget to relace the fork oil after 3000kms,as they are taking quite a beating with your stoppies as mentioned by you.
Are you into too much of a burnouts, and where is the smoking RTR180 pic then
??
The centre area of the tyre has gone out completely .
And very good avg figures you're getting man, too good for a 180CC machine, that too carbed.
My bike drops to 35kmpl when ridden hard.
PS:
keep the pics flowing.
Well burnouts hasnt been done on the bike till now.Wheelies and Stoppies only. The front fork oil was replaced with the Castrol ones by the local mechanic where i service my Victor to ward off those noise coming from front when the bike had some 6-7k kms on odo.
Yes the brakes seemed to have lost slight bite particularly the front ones.Even after bleeding it is still not that convincing and the feel is not upto the mark. Will check the brake pads.

Stoppies have surely eaten the pads i think.Originally posted by chicane1879 View PostYes the brakes seemed to have lost slight bite particularly the front ones.Even after bleeding it is still not that convincing and the feel is not upto the mark. Will check the brake pads.

Bike covered 6.5k!
Need to change the mineral oil to synthetic..Vibrations are getting on my nerves now..!
Give me the best three choices and I'd pick one randomly...
Seriously, which one is best? What was that Motul you've been using chicane? Please send in the details..If you ride like there's no tomorrow...worry not there won't be!

Best is MOTUL, followed by PETRONAS SPRINTA (too good for it's price) and VEEDOL.Originally posted by shivank View PostBike covered 6.5k!

May be!!Originally posted by rennycornelius View PostStoppies have surely eaten the pads i think.

Well i would say Motul is better amongst the three. I used 15W50 Semi-Synthetic for about 3k kms.Really nice engine oil and provided optimal performance in extended highway ripping runs. But some of the 160 owners are not on favour of it. Don't know any of the 180 owner has tried the Motul SS out here.Originally posted by shivank View PostBike covered 6.5k!

Go for Motul 300V FS 5W40 or 5100T 10W40. Or you can try the Veedol Super Swift which costs 270 bucks. Very good engine oil.Have no personal experience with the Petronas but i have heard it gels well with the RTR.
Couldn't get you. What type of noise are you experiencing from the engine?Originally posted by ameyashogun View Posthey guys 2 days back changed the oil to castrol power racing 1

hey guys engine becomes too hot comparo to normal hot timing
is it the fully synthetic oil?
some noise i don't know where it's coming from? but sure it's from engine
will post a video
but it was 2 days back
bike performance is great
no prob at all now
just want to know was it clutch plates or may be 1st time poured the fully synthetic oil that's why but still i don't think any thing above mention can be cause a cut cut cut cut noise
any guess when should we suppose to change the clutch plates?

What kind of noices are you hearing?
Are they coming while driving or at the stationary bike too??
Synth oil do make the tappet noice little more audible, i think the cut cut thing is that. The Magician"

Hey Congrats for Your new purchase...Originally posted by thmh201 View Postguys i booked my rtr180 today...i will be getting my bike on monday...what are the things i need to take care while getting the delivery...should i ask them for any accesories...should i buy any...and please suggest a cool helmet for my white rtr...thanksssssss

Just try to inspect the bike thoroughly from outside..for any scratches and all.
And try to get a look through the Speedometer for the topspeed recorded coz most of the showrum people are not smart enough to reset it and the 0-60 Lap Timer also the Odometer...
Also try to inspect for any rust and all if it is there.. (only 1% case)
That's all what i had done.. just wait for the genius minds here guide u..
