The only difference is the headlamp assemblybelongs to RX/MAX100 category.. (guessing)
It has a plastic frame to hold the projector
Thanks. In anyway it looks better than a stock Apache headlamp, look to keep it the same way. How much was the cost involved and which projector lens is that?

      projector+angel eye setup(1200)+ HID(1800) + headlight assembly(100) + fitting charges(300) = 3400

Ahha!!Bike is looking superb man!I am tempted to do this on my bike now.Is this a direct fit?Or do we have to add some clamp for the headlight support? You converted the electricals to dc set up for this?

P.S.-I see you had removed both the mirrors.Put them back. Its for your safety only.Perhaps that might be the reason for your accidents I guess.

its not direct fit.. requires clamps.. my bike s still AC/DC.. need to convert it to DC ASAP

Had removed the mirrors long back but that's not the reason for my accident Will put it back ASAP

After riding a lot in rain I can say that TVS tires are not that bad as ppl call it, they are good tires. But if you still dont have confidence on TVS tires, go for a change.
+1. Even I was surprised when I rode the bike in rain. The TVS rubber is not bad at all !!

Got an sms from SVC yesterday stating that My bike is ready after servicing and to collect it. Funny thing was that I hadn't given My bike for servicing!! So, any takers ? Also check out the way they wrote the sms

                • Hi all White Apache owners,
I got myself promoted with the new Apache 180 ABS - white color(only one available currently). Just throw some light on how to retain the spark of the white color? Wax, coatings, polishes or watever that will help it look the same as now.

You said it ! :P first get a teflon coating on it asap.
Then get it polished in every service , and if you can spend time polish yourself, Use Waxpol for polishing. You can find this in hardware shops, its called waxpol scooter polish.I have been riding in rains and after using this the water drops just roll down on the bike it will be super smooth for 2 weeks or so.

Waxpol (other shiners) for cars can be used for white menace?

We dont get genuine teflon coat as of such!Mostly, they wax polish the bike in name of teflon coat.Best way,buy a tin of Waxpol Ultra Glo,its hard wax.Gives better protection from water marks, dust than other 'liquid' polishes.Among all the hard waxes,Turtle wax is known to be the best. For the black parts, use Waxpol dashboard polish.Make sure, all the products you buy are 'genuine' cause there are many fake ones in the market. Also refer 'Bike polish' thread in Universal Threads section.

                            Nope my base is Delhi.

But the new tyres are quite good. And the bike feels more under control while braking.

                            • @Tachyon Post your tire question in bangalore thread da you will get better replies, and btw in bangalore JC road is the hot spot for bike, you get all brand tires too
Waxpol (other shiners) for cars can be used for white menace?
Yeah you can , but the shine will last only for 2 or 3 days and it s not usefull as it only makes the bike shinier, put waxpol caranuba wax i.e the scooter polish the wax stays longer and it will protect it from dust and water.

waxpol ultra glo is a polish not wax and so is a little abrasive . waxpol carnauba wax/ turtle wax hard shell is the one to use frequently .
