Ahha!!Bike is looking superb man!I am tempted to do this on my bike now.Is this a direct fit?Or do we have to add some clamp for the headlight support? You converted the electricals to dc set up for this?Originally posted by Kirankj1724 View Post@abhi :
its the normal projector+HID+Angel eye setup
The only difference is the headlamp assembly
belongs to RX/MAX100 category.. (guessing)
It has a plastic frame to hold the projector
P.S.-I see you had removed both the mirrors.Put them back. Its for your safety only.Perhaps that might be the reason for your accidents I guess.

+1. Even I was surprised when I rode the bike in rain. The TVS rubber is not bad at all !!Originally posted by Abhii46 View PostIf you drive fast in rain, any tire will skid.
After riding a lot in rain I can say that TVS tires are not that bad as ppl call it, they are good tires. But if you still dont have confidence on TVS tires, go for a change.
That's a neat man !! Loved it (But i personally hate circular headlampsOriginally posted by Kirankj1724 View Post
). But looks damn cool ! Why dont you post a pic of the lights switched on ???
+1. Removing the RVMs are a definite NO-NO !Originally posted by Drifty View PostP.S.-I see you had removed both the mirrors.Put them back. Its for your safety only.Perhaps that might be the reason for your accidents I guess.

Thanks. I have removed the blue one's (which are of number plate) and the red are the one's which are on side. Removed them too. Even then it wouldn't come off! Could You specify on the image where other screws are present, if any?Originally posted by Tachyon View PostMirhawk...it is little confusing inside when you take out the mudflap. There are two more screws on the either side...after you have unscrewed those...try to pull it out very gently... I am attaching the pic of the flap...hope you find it useful....
Also Guys one funniest thing happened. Does anyone want an bike free

Got an sms from SVC yesterday stating that My bike is ready after servicing and to collect it. Funny thing was that I hadn't given My bike for servicing!! So, any takers

Hi all White Apache owners,
I got myself promoted with the new Apache 180 ABS - white color(only one available currently). Just throw some light on how to retain the spark of the white color? Wax, coatings, polishes or watever that will help it look the same as now.

You said it ! :P first get a teflon coating on it asap.Originally posted by vrakchu View Posthow to retain the spark of the white color? Wax, coatings, polishes
Then get it polished in every service , and if you can spend time polish yourself, Use Waxpol for polishing. You can find this in hardware shops, its called waxpol scooter polish.I have been riding in rains and after using this the water drops just roll down on the bike it will be super smooth for 2 weeks or so.site:xbhp.com keyword -> Google this to dig up stuff in xbhp faster

We dont get genuine teflon coat as of such!Mostly, they wax polish the bike in name of teflon coat.Best way,buy a tin of Waxpol Ultra Glo,its hard wax.Gives better protection from water marks, dust than other 'liquid' polishes.Among all the hard waxes,Turtle wax is known to be the best. For the black parts, use Waxpol dashboard polish.Make sure, all the products you buy are 'genuine' cause there are many fake ones in the market. Also refer 'Bike polish' thread in Universal Threads section.Originally posted by vrakchu View PostHi all White Apache owners,

@Tachyon Post your tire question in bangalore thread da you will get better replies, and btw in bangalore JC road is the hot spot for bike, you get all brand tires too
Yeah you can , but the shine will last only for 2 or 3 days and it s not usefull as it only makes the bike shinier, put waxpol caranuba wax i.e the scooter polish the wax stays longer and it will protect it from dust and water.Waxpol (other shiners) for cars can be used for white menace?Last edited by kantu; 05-09-2011, 10:05 PM.site:xbhp.com keyword -> Google this to dig up stuff in xbhp faster

waxpol ultra glo is a polish not wax and so is a little abrasive . waxpol carnauba wax/ turtle wax hard shell is the one to use frequently .Originally posted by Drifty View PostWe dont get genuine teflon coat as of such!Mostly, they wax polish the bike in name of teflon coat.Best way,buy a tin of Waxpol Ultra Glo,its hard wax.Gives better protection from water marks, dust than other 'liquid' polishes.Among all the hard waxes,Turtle wax is known to be the best. For the black parts, use Waxpol dashboard polish.Make sure, all the products you buy are 'genuine' cause there are many fake ones in the market. Also refer 'Bike polish' thread in Universal Threads section.
