I do not take things as trouble. nor u have to think as u are troubling us. If i can search for my parts whole lot here then why i can't search for someone who had helped me a lot and given such a deep understanding about bikes.

Oh! sorry if i might have hurt your feelings. OK, if you are not getting troubled then search the parts. I have a feeling that something good is going to happen, and i forgot that bloggingwheels is also at jamshedpur. Man thumps up to you. And yes you are right a tank might me waiting in Mumbai for me. I am always a believer that what is destined for us will come no matter what you try. Man again i will say i have got a very nice friend in the form of you.

It was so sweet of you to suggest it. I am sorry i completely forgot about you being in jamsedhpur. Ok, if you are not troubled then you can help me. Heck if you just get the tank and try for the panel, i will ride to jamshedpur to get them and also meet you.

Its because i think i have met some of the best friends in life. We have never met in life but the bond of friendship has grown so strong, that someday we all must meet. The parts may be available or not, but what i will never forget is all of your efforts for getting it. I am eagerly waiting for the day when we all will meet.

We all will meet as i have planned something. As i have joined new in bank, i am in probation period. So my leaves are piling up. After 2 months my probation will me over and i can take some leave. Once in six month i will take 5-6 days leave and will ride to various part of india as a means of reducing stress. At that time i will meet you all. I will tell you in advance when i will go.

Dropped the oil today ( gulf synth 10w30 after 1988km of use in 3 months ) . Filled with - 150ml motul 3000 20w40 + 100ml gulf synth 10w30 + 100ml motul cng power plus 20w50 & made the rest up to max on dipstick with new Hero 10w30 (tidewater) . Bike runs well .
Bike is covered overall with mud and road muck , no use washing now so i'm not going to . Maybe I'll clean up just the engine cover once . Just keeping the oil fresh and air filter clean and chain greased . Hopefully the bike holds thru monsoon like this . Horn is croaking when headlamp + turn beeper + brake light is on , need new battery .

No specific need , I am just trying to clean up bike garage of various odd bottles with bit of oil in them . Moreover by now I am confident that Splendor shall be running just fine on this leftovers-special . Bike shall be 3 years tomorrow .
I have not had time to meet him yet , I have been requisitioned for election duty here as you know there is a troublesum panchayat election comming up in west-bengal . My bike is covered with sticky mud from running to the elctoral office in the districts regularly . But my advice is if you like the bike you can buy the X-Pro with confidence . Bike is zippy , mileage is good and Hero is backing it with 5-years warranty now . As is usual , hero parts quality and build quality is much better than honda (compared to the yuga & twister which have same engine) .

Speedo inner cable broke into two today on 3rd aniversary day of bike , replaced with OE part number 44830KVE900S ( cable comp speedometer ) , total ₹68.00 . Fitting was free at Hero service . Needum lube all cables ... never done that on this bike yet .

So the DPL(dealer's price list) that I had uploaded sometime ago is up to date. Free fitting-hmm... How much time did they take ? No job card ?
I have replaced speedo inner cable thrice and accelerator cable once(outer casing rusted at a bend because it was routed improperly).

The guy took just about 15 mins , no job card , no vehicle number taken for small odd jobs like this . Thats why I visit these guys sometimes for free carb , clutch adjustments etc .
Speedo inner cable is available seperately ? How much ? Here they said only full cable ( inner + casing ) is available OE . This is my first cable purchase for this bike @ around 15k kms & 3 years . Normal life , nahi ?

Yes inner cable is available separately too in OE for Rs.21.50 only. I bought it many times. Even non-OE inner cable works good. Those are available for 20. No need to change outer cable every time.

You have part number for the inner cable only part ? What to lube cables with ( speedo , accelerator , front brake & clutch ) ? Maybe I'll do it this weekend . Also need part numbers of the accelerator and clutch cables - need to keep spares for these .

17910-KCC-900 throttle cable

i use fork oil to lube cable because its lighter.
