Yeah even that will work if it satisfies what I need.
I just want to know what will be the best city riding speeds on this bike and at what time should I up the gear.
One thing I noticed is after 50 kmph or so the bike starts vibrating very bad.
This was not the case with the splendor that we had earlier.

In the city, 40 to 50 kmph will be good.

For shifting the gears,
1st gear: To move the bike from standstill. (Or else in very steep inclines)
2nd gear : 10 to 20 kmph
3rd " : 20 to 30 kmph
4th " : 30 kmph onwards.
Passion plus is a super smooth bike and should be vibe free till 80 kmph. Since you've told that you bought it from your friend, how old it is? How much has the odometer clocked?

I tried to upload the parts catalogue, but it is too large to be uploaded.

Sir but my passion plus vibrates at after around 40kmph
And it is around 35000kms on odo.
Mileage is a concern but not on such a huge level and by the way it is way better than the activa I used to ride.

About the catalogue If someone else can help it would be appreciated.

I am not sir! I have just completed my studies. PM me your e-mail ID so that I can send it to you.

Regarding vibrations, could you be more specific? Can you find from where the vibrations are coming from?

Since the bike is vibrating at 40 kmph, check the drive chain. It might be tight. There should be slackness for about 1.5 inches.

Put the bike in centre stand and rotate both the wheels with your hand. They must rotate freely.

Check this for now and report here. Don't worry, a number of experts are here. You will definitely get your bike butter smooth.

I don't have so much knowledge on these things but I will tell this to be checked to the service centre guys. Maybe they can do it.
Giving the bike for service in 2-3 days

No , not okay . With bike on center-stand on level ground , fill between max & min marks on dipstick only , never over max or less than min . The excess oil shall find it's way into your air box and other problems may arise. Check after a few days and top-up if necessary - which you have already done correctly . You filled the whole bottle , but upon checking found only near to max on the dipstick - where did the extra oil go ?

Should be enough for rust prevention . Curing time depends on the type of paint . NC paints can dry in 15 mins , while enamel may need more than 7 days too . Second coat should be applied after first is fully cured . But for your not-so-critical purpose , it's okay .

Harshit'Jee , don't get intimidated by these technical terms , these are very easy things to do , you can easily manage these with simple cheap tools on your weekend . Just few years back I'd be scared to open and mess up my bike, just like you but that never happened . Don't depend on service people for your bike to run well , for them the bike runs means it's okay . Today you have internet , you can find out how to do all these things by yourself by just using google . Also try to read up this thread fully , it may take a few days . If any any doubt or clarification needed , don't hesitate to post question here - there are so many wonderful and knowledgeable friends waiting to help you here , I found .

harshit.bhandari Vibrations at handle or foot pegs or both ? There are endless things that can cause similar things , think of it as going to doctor saying you are not feeling well. It has multiple reasons . If you could be more specific about location it would be helpful.

• AMBITION 135 2003 CDI problem

Hai guys I'm new here I recently bought a HH ambition 135 2003 kick/drum bike for 10k but its having CDI problem 3weeks ago it suddenly sstoppedi I took her to local mechanic(due to I'm leaving in a village there are only 3or4 mmechanics are in here) he said that he can't help me out because he don't know that much about electrical problems so he suggested me to take bike to nearest city.I took my bike on trolley. The mechanic tested it and said its CDI problem and he tried different CDIs similar like that and shine CDI but it didn't work he said I have to replace it but its not available in my town.so he removed CDI & asked his assistance for match box and went to another room and came back after 2mins and plugged it and only one kick its starts like the day I bought it. But while little more throttling the bike is lagging power suddenly bike stopped one day again then I also heated the CDI with match box then its starts again now I am doing these for every 2or3 ddays.I took CDI and went to nearest city(Hyderabad) to the area called king koti(which is famous for bikes) I showed to them then one guy he gave me same looking CDI with same plugs 4*2 its stickerd as DIGITAL CDI HUNK,CBZ,archiver,UNICORN I bought it but its not working on my bike.again I went to Hyderabad and at another shop he gave me CDI which is not looks like CDI(this one is big and heavy) but stickerd as AMBITION DIGITAL CDI Unit with micro processer) again with same plugs but that also not working
Now which CDI should I buy and where I asked in showroom in my town they said they are not having that item MY bike CDI is AC or DC please help me out of this! Thanks

Ok its the cdi that is blown. Does the bike have battery. If it doesn't have a battery then cdi will not work.

Its the DC CDI.

I am giving you a list of parts. Change them all and buy the same part number.

1. 30410-KRC-900- Thats the cdi. Pay special attention to KRC. Thats the part number for ambition. That 30410 code you will find from CD 100 to karizma as its the code for CDI. The middle code denotes which bike it is . If it is GB then CD and CD 100, 198- joy/dawn, KST- cd dawn/deluxe, KCC- splendor/passion, KRC- Ambition, KTN- acheiver, KVE- extreme/hunk. Even if you get same looking cdi it will not work.

The mid part KRC is important. The last three digit are iterations. It doesn't matter as it denotes revision in ignition curves.

2. Pulse generator- Or in other words it is known as pick up coil. Couldn't find the part number. 31120-KRC-900- This is the part number for entire stator coil. I think all DC model bikes don't come with pulsar coil as separate. Will confirm tomorrow.

3. Ignition coil- Thats under the tank. The part number is 30500-KRC-900. This one if you don;t get then can go for cbz or hunk. Not a problem.

I told to change all this because ambition cdi is lot sensitive to minor fluctuations. SO any fault in these will cause the cdi to shut current.

Also it would be good idea to check with multimeter the electrical continuity between a) pick-up coil and CDI b) alternator output and ignition coil , etc . Because in such old wiring harness , breaks and shorts causing malfunction is common . What do you say ?

Continuity testing is absolutely necessary.

Also he should ensure battery is there

Passion pro has completed 35,000 kms today. I have to service it but it is raining here all day long since last 2 weeks. Waiting for rains to end so that I can service the bike.

Have bought veedol take off 4t 10w 30. Also bought formula 1 wax. This is the first time that I am going to use the wax on bike. Bike is running good like since the day it was bought.
