Thank you so much both. I have downloaded it from link provided by prashanth. I recently bought Wind Screen from Hero Genuine spares and part number matches the one on catalogue. Thank you very much.

            Some updates on my bike:
As my bike was running on Bosch U4A plug it was giving me troubles. Bike felt like going out of fuel in low rpms while the air screw was at 1 turn out with a rich mix. I asked sibun sir and he told me to get a new plug as this is sorted also Paul sir had told long ago that its a cold range plug.

Some days back I installed the new plug (Champion PRZ7HC bought from Hero Genuine spares) and I set the air screw approx 1.4 turns out. Then went for a ride.

Wow! Bike's behaviour had changed completely. It was very very quiet and ride was also very smooth. No loss of power in low revs. Pulling capacity and pick up increased drastically. Now the bike is running butter smooth. Its like makkhan. The low end torque is brilliant now.

All this trouble started when mechanic set too much rich mix on carb and the plug got fouled. Wont go to any mech in future. Its better if I ask here.

Currently doing a mileage test. Filled 2 litres petrol yesterday. Previous mileage was 50kmpl.

A very big thanks to all the people here who have helped me. I have learnt so much from you guys. You guys are the best. Thank you all.

I don't have the catalogue for CD Dawn. I got HF Dawn. Please check if this is useful.

                        Air filter I bought:17213ktc900s

                        Air filter on manual:17213 kwa940..

It refers to air filter holder in manual

how to tell unless we know what part you got and what you actually needed ? Then also only good mechanic can detect a misfit during use . But best is to replace with correct part , because any misfit of air filter can leave a gap and dusty open air shall enter engine .

What I've learned now even genuine hero parts counter is not safe , since they'll sell you a part with close match when they don't have the exact part in stock , without warning you . I've warned everyone of this irresponsible behaviour in my earlier post . Also if a part you bought doesn't quite fit they'll not take return . Find out the exact part number needed before going to the shop and ask them that - instead of telling them just make and model of bike .

I learned it from my uncle..who was mecanic....he taught me small mechanic works, like tighting chain, remove wheels, replace air filter etc..I swear that there was no gap..after first time I did it I checked it with him...

I feel the only issue is with part no...

If no gap then filter element shall do it's job of cleaning air passing through just fine and nothing to worry

incidentally the part-numbers you mentioned are 2 different parts of the same air-filter assembly . 17212KTC900 is the holder and 17213KWA940 is filter element and 17212KTC900S is most probably the whole filter assembly ( i.e both parts together ) . It's a paper element filter , No ? I'm not very familiar with the paper filters on the later models . My Splendor+ has oiled foam element , it's reusable .

You are right bro..I saw your post yesterday..and I downloaded the service manual and checked all spares that I bought...the service guys even have no idea about part no..they will give you a part and they never even replace the part they given..

The service center guys won't even permit you to enter their service area..only god knows what part they use...
