            Well it has no UPI number. I think that it is a fake one. One thing more I see that it has a packing date of 2014 whereas you bought in 2016. I do not think that air filters last for so long in shops. I am saying this because recently I bought windscreen for my bike and it has a packing date of 2016. Though air filters sell more as compared to windscreen.

            Refer the below pic. Notice UPI number in right side, written vertically.

                  Note in your sticker Hindi Ru , symbol for Rupee , is absent after the cost ammount . Instead in another area it's written (IN Rs) . Ru symbol was adopted in 2010 .

                  Run motors..hero authorised showroom...purchased in this January/February..

                    If it is Hero authorised showroom , chance of duplicate is almost impossible . Send a pm to Sibun ... he is more familiar with all kinds of parts labels - from old to new . Is it air-filter for some other model of Hero ?? hmmm

                    Well , I just checked on Hero website . M/s RUN Motors in kottakkal is authorised service center .

                        Thanks . Also on further investigation 17213-KTC-900 is matching part number for Air-Filter element for Glamour ( 2008 catalog ) . Also I found an old parts package with a 2014 label - same as yours ! All my parts are bought from WestBengal parts distributor in Kolkata . So your label is genuine . Only it is a Glamour part and just a bit old stock .



                        So in conclusion - if it fits properly , you can continue to use it

                            please help to conform bike is running on lean or rich currently AFR is 1.5 turn out. This image is 50 km after tuning.
                            The bike provide heigh torque in initial throttil.My bike is passion plus.

                              Friend I think it is a bit rich.. There is carbon deposit on tip..am not an expert..also hear others advice..
